Sometimes I do not sleep AT ALL for 2 days straight, and when I do sleep, it's usually 3 or 4 hours a night.
I had a period where I actually slept between 3 to 4 hours, then the next night not at all, then 3 to 4 hours and the night afterwards not at all-repeat.
The messed up thing about it is that during the day I am constantly tired whether I make any effort or not, whether it's work or I just sit on my butt all day staring at my screen, I am still very tired, but when I try to go to bed, I feel sudden bursts of energy which keep me from falling asleep.
This disturbed pace of sleep has let to some rather interesting effects, such as dreaming with my eyes open if I can word it like that.
Yesterday I woke up from my sleep due to what felt like a wave of cold air.
I felt like there was another presence in the room staring at me, it took some effort to open my eyes and when I did there was this green light across the room, it was dim but I could see my room in detail, and what seemed like a floating orb from where this light came on.
Once I saw that orb moving across the room I jumped out of bed and suddenly it disappeared, no orb, no light, no cool air, nothing.
This was not a break in, because everything was locked as I left it and nothing was disturbed, yes I checked.
I have more similar experiences if people are interested.
The only thing that happened to me was getting up early thinking it was late, getting ready to catch my train. Halfway to the station I noticed that I forgot my briefcase containing... well pretty much everything, so i went back home to grab it. When I left again I noticed that I left my keys inside so I had to go get the spare ones. When I finally got to the train station I noticed that I forgot my wallet with my keycard and train ticket, so I went back once more.
During my train ride I noticed that I was in a rush for no reason when my alarm rang. I arrived at work about an hour early (this was during winter so I didn't pay any attention to the fact that it was still dark outside).
It has been discovered, a fair while back, via various methods of research, that sleep deprivation can have effects that are actually worse than being drunk.
Similarly, posting on not many hours sleep can leead to stupid/silly posts. lol

Normally i get an idea in my head, then it stays there. Results of ignoring it is Resistance to sleep and an inability of that idea to leave. Doing that idea instantly like the dev ones concludes to a lack of sleep but progress being made.
I also remember waking up my sister saying it was time for school, go downstairs, have a shower, then walking in the living room in nothing but a towel from the waist down to find my mothers and farther guests that have just come over for a drink see me get some fresh school clothes. It was apparently the stroke of midnight and my excuse was that i was getting ready for school. My sister wasn't happy. the guests thought that my parents child was "Dazed and confused."

YE, same here. Mostly it happened when I couldn't wake up and decided to snooze for a few more minutes. During that short time I would magically finish all my hw.
