Aren't transports like that? If you have ideas - please post them. I won't be guessing what was that you have been imagining and will proceed with this one and you will end up flying one. Or not.

Well, we have Bizon, Akegata, Uruz and Corsair train as the closest samples I believe. As Skorak said it kinda needs to be longish, but with BW textures and specific details.
Other option is make it Whalish(gmg or zoner), omicronish type of transport if the aim is to make it more unique.
The armoured transport is spot on, good solid Outcast feel with a pretty fearsome looking front profile.
The battle transport has a decent set of features, especially the battering ram looking front, but to my eyes is a little too rectangular and a few more engines than appears necessary. I'd suggest more of a protruding front and perhaps condensing the four middle engines into two larger ones. Another idea could be to make the cargo section into a hold rather than boxes and have the rear section with a ramp looking texture at the back.
Hm... the BT, while having quite nice features and spot on textures is... still looking a little bit flatty. I'd say perhaps try what skorak Said, and perhaps add a few more things like the ram in front, to reduce that.... flatty look. Hm... just thought of this... how about keeping the back cca the same width, but decrese the width gradually to the front? So you get something like sorta letter "A" shape? Or perhaps keep the width at the back and 1/4 leght, than gradually decrese it to... maybe 2/3 of the width over a small portion of its's length, and keep the rest at the 2/3 width...
I hope I described it in such a way it's understandable.
