FAM doesn't have a resize option available... As far as I know...

While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack

Install the program on the desktop you are using. if it is installed on an administrator desktop and you are using it on a limited account, you get that error.

' Wrote:Hey, uhh... I've run both FAM and the installer as an admin, do have full admin rights on my system, and do have both comdlg32.ocx and comdlg32.dll in my system32 on Windows Vista. Though I still get this error, DBoy and me are teh confuzzled.

Quote:Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies is not correcty registered: a file is missing or invalid

Sorry if i'm being impatient, I'd just like to use FAM, and curious if anyone knows of a solution to a strange problem such as this.

I'm happy to announce that the new version of the Freelancer Account Manager has just been released.

This is not a Beta version, nor a Release Candidate version. Its the full, final version. :yahoo:
  • All bugs present on the previous version have been corrected.
  • New Installer :yahoo:
Vista installation problems should no longer happen now. Nor the '429' ActiveX error, nor anything like that. The installer is smarter, and correctly detects the OS version and the user account rights.
  • A new tool has been added. It allows you to create the program special shortcuts from the program itself instead of manually. This should save time, and make things simpler to inexperienced users.
  • It is now possible to toggle the "account activation" and "account deletion" confirmation dialogues on or off.
  • New error control routine created. Its more user friendly, and creates error logs too. It will simplify the bugfixing process in the future.
The program can be downloaded from the usual place, at http://lordkorrd.googlepages.com/fam
if you find any bugs, report them here.

Enjoy!

Works pretty well except I noticed that the option checklist overlaps the furthest-right button.

Odd. Toolbar stretching should only happen on windows 95/98, which is not officially supported by the FAM.

Could you post a screenie of that overlap?
I would like to know how much to move the checkboxes based on how much of them are over the last button.
