This topic has sincerely been over discussed and consumed.
Its still the same arguments, same answers, same everything. Writting an essay or bringing the topic back for a discussion ten more times is not going to change that. Everyone has made their stances clear.
An admin decision was made and argumented more than enough times. The community has already given its input and its only the furry-people that need to understand it.
Other than that, bringing this up over and over is a waste of time and effort.

This is also an extreme factor. People could also argue fiction, but many people in this community roleplay things pertaining to the FL Universe and stretching it in a somewhat believable sense. This is not believable.
anyway furries are a sub popculture and should be kept away from disco. anyway over the years we already been thru this subject and was a some point over. At the time the majority of the communauty agreed of non legitimity of the furries on the server. And according to most feed back, its still unwanted. We should simply get over it and continue without them.
add rules 1.6b
1.6b Character must be inRoleplay and the use of memes or pop-culture references (animes, manga, starwars etc) as player characters is not allowed. For guidelines, look here
Seems like an opinion to me... A large one but still, who are we to say he cant role play as a fox? I know ill get flak for understanding the "Fandom" as you all say. But i dont see a huge issue. We play in a game where Aliens can destroy planets, even Jonathan Kalh has a crush on Raven... Its just RP right?
Just as the constant increase of entropy is the basic law of the universe, so it is the basic law of life to struggle against entropy. - V. Havel
The essay had initially way different mean before than it has now, mind that Arbs.
I didn't want to bring the crux of the matter up on this thread, but the only true harmed person after Furry Ban is @SMI-Great.Fox who had been doing his roleplay through seven years. It is a pretty long shot even in the real life, let alone in a community that lives just a bit longer than that. Does it mean the work he cannot really alter - because it would mean retconning the hard work of these long years - should be thrown into trash bin?
I have been there. I lost work of over four years three years ago due to incident I do not really want to bring up on the public forum. It may be biased but due to the very same situation happening with @SMI-Great.Fox, I can understand what it truly means to him and how impactful it was for him. Seven years, long seven years is not something to just scrap off and get over with so easily.

Someone told me we shouldn't apply logic to Discovery, otherwise Bretonia would already fall, Liberty would be a crippled economy with Rheinland and Kusari being in state of utter chaos without any tradelanes around due to brutal civil wars.
As for the splicing the genome and mixture of human and animal DNA, I am not really sure under what rock you have been living, but the issue is we are already likely to develop such a chimera in the next 10-20 years, unless the technological leap would happen (again). The sources I have posted contain only a fracture of the sources I already operate on, weekly extended by at least two or three new ones.
Let alone the 'mixtures', I also gave an actual medical theory in regard to Mind Uploading - which is also pretty on good way towards non-fiction, although I presented the subject in the more realistic manner, which is copying the very basis of a human mind, as actual moving is - namely - less likely to happen, even with the most advanced technology.

First you wanted a discussion on the scientific and lore side, and now this. So your first call was obviously a mere distraction.

I didn't read it all since its pointless to do so, however i'm gonna answer the above.
It was disallowed because of you, you were trying to push those furries on everyone when they didn't wanted to see or deal with them inrp and they still don't, nothing changed about that and nothing will.
Are there more furry and anime lovers in this community ? sure, there are, but aside from two peoples they understand those are not part of the freelancer "scenario" and that it may turn off some peoples if they see such and they don't try to be special snowflakes like you do.
*I'm sure when the result of this won't be favorable for you will leave again for another 2 days and then return trying again, but please don't .. enough is enough!
If you could use your brain to not just read but to understand the things people write down. Antropomorphic creatures are not part of the freelancer universe. The staff and/or community decided that they are not part of the discovery universe. Aka they are not accepted. Just like public nudity in most of the western world. And it was also stated that changing this decision was not brought up. Summa summarum pointing out how the decision is bad because of already existing articles and dissertations regarding this matter will not change the mindset of the people. Simply accept it once and for all. This society/community doesn't want to have atropomorph creatures for reasons we already pointed out and discussed. Period.

Mankind can adjust nature, can alter nature, can enhance nature, can destroy nature. But we cannot ignore nature. There are things between heaven and earth that just aren't possible.
