As part of the former Angels, I approve this change and would be happy to see more people helping new players.
@sindroms, is it allowed to put something along the lines of [Support] as prefix for my ship? It would then keep using Recruit ID, for the sake of answering questions and helping out right on spot.

Lol that's just exactly what the angels did, or at least the trial ones, me for example. But why not, it is not faction based now so i guess you could do it.

And second of all i believe this is a mistake, not many players i've seen have had the time to stop and help others.
That is what the angels were for. And to be honest, in that little amount of time i was in there, Very close to a month, i helped a lot, and i mean a lot, even now players still contacts me, people are upset that the angels are gone, so am i to be honest. But of course there's not much i can do, and i won't fight it, but i think it is a mistake, i hope for the best.

That is because many players, who doesn't use the forum that often doesn't really know the angels aren't existing anymore, i logged on for like MAX 15 minutes, 3 players didn't know anything, and was quite upset that the angels were discontinued.

Also some of the people who agrees on this wasn't Angels.

Tutorials is fine imo. That's where the rest of the newbie helping stuff is.

EDIT: Or in the general 24/7 help section so it's more visible. Whichever.

EDIT2: Then again it's just a log, doesn't need to be very visible. xD
