"You're from Honshu, the planet. Birth date was 802, December 23. A significant half-sister... " She turned to her as she had heard her catch up. She brushed her hair to the side and fixed her dress a little as she walked down the hall of the station, heading for the elevator. "And an occupation as a treasure hunter. Is that correct?"
Unlike Grubo maybe planned Mi didn't really react surprised at all. "Correct, with the exception of the Half-Sister, I don't know what you meant with this, I don't have one. I wonder if you are aware of the treasures I have though..""
"I'm unaware, though perhaps you'd like to share?" She looked at her with a slight smirk, finding her a bit interesting that she had not reacted the way she thought Minami would. If she looked at Grubo, for a split second she might have noticed some glittering lights over her left eye, though it quickly disappeared. They entered an elevator and Grubozaboyschikov looked into the eye-sensor security check terminal before the elevator started moving with a few commands on the datapad. They bagan to descend deeper into the asteroid.
"Just the technological standard I expected, not that we don't use it ourselves but.. eye scanners are such a thing." She said with a weak smile, she noticed that short glittering and knew what it meant. "Back to your question, I don't mind sharing it.. let's say what I keep as treasure are a lot of.. cute cuddly kittens." Her expression seemed to tell something different than her words though..[
"Hmm... is that so. Well... where we are going on our way is a pen full of cuddly kittens. Perhaps you'd like to help yourself to some of them? I sometimes enjoy going down and giving them a good grooming. Sooths the nerves..." She replies back. Minami would notice that the elevator would be traveling deep through layers and layers of stone. Only very powerful drills would be able to penetrate the rock, and nothing else would be able to get through, especially screams...
Minami appeared startled after this. Did Grubo really refer to the same things? "Uhm, well.. I guess I will consider it?! Hm, say.. any clue how long it took them all those years ago to hollow out this rock?" She suddenly asked, a pretty simplistic and obvious attempt to switch the topic.
"I know that it was built in 728 A.S. but I cannot recall how long it took. I'm sure it was Agerian made tech, though. Either way, there are places in the station that are older than others. Excavation doesn't happen once and that's it..." She smirks a little. "Kittens... for example... need more room." She giggles a little though it is less girly and more sinister. She runs her hand though her hair as she looks up at the level they were passing, noticing they were moments before it would stop.
The elevator would slowdown and come to a compete stop. Some sounds of hatches closing and locking could be heard and then an automated AI voice would sound. 'Greetings Infiltrator Grubozaboyschikov. Please enter the verification password and procedure now.'
Grubo enters some commands into the console, looking long and complicated with her fingers moving quickly over the screen. In a few seconds the doors would open.
'Welcome back, Grubozaboyschikov.'
She walks through the elevator door and notions Minami to follow her into the corridors ahead, purely lit by artificial lighting against the carved walls.
Mi didn't want to comment on Grubo's lack of knowledge about Leiden. The things she told her were the obvious facts everybody knew who was aware of Leiden's existance. "Slowly you make me curious about all your kittens.." She whispered quietly, shortly before the elevator came to a hold, after rather disinterested observation of Grubo entering various codes and so on she quietly followed her into the corridor ahead.
"What was that?" She asks as she walks down the hallway. There seemed to be no one else around and no noises either. Just the sounds of their footsteps echoing against the hard and smoothed surfaces of the hall. A hatch was just ahead of them as Grubozaboyschikov walked towards it. A facial recognition scan noticed Grubo and after a few quick commands on the next pad, the door's seal opened with a hiss and Grubo entered, looking behind her to see Minami following her.
"What's the matter, no need to be quiet here." She chuckles. "No one is going to hear you... Right this way..."
The door would close behind them and lock. It would be a small vestibule like room with a metal plating interior, contrasting to the stone before. There was a door on each wall and Grubo entered a password to one of them and entered. A hum would sit in the air from the sound of the ventilation and lights; background noise that wouldn't be normally heard would seem clear now against the sounds of the locking mechanisms.
As they entered, the room would drastically expand and open up into what seemed to be a large testing facility. The familiar crates that they had seen before would be unloading ahead of them with some noise of activity and people.
"Well.. what should I talk about?" Was everything the woman gave back, not seeing a reason to talk a lot about random things, atleast not now. Calmly and silently she followed Grubozaboyschikov until they entered the larger hall. "My my.. they are quick, aren't they? I am glad it could be done that quickly, I dislike staying away from the Metal Tango for long.." She looked away for a second after this, knowing that some people find an, even though only weak, emotional attachment to spacecraft ridiculous or just odd.
