"I suppose one can have such opinions..." she comments as she walks forward into the large testing facility and towards one of the control terminals. Activating it, she starts keying in some commands. "I hope you don't mind. I will be running some scans on the containers you have gathered to see what we are dealing with. While I am confident we can crack them open, I'd like to be sure I fully know what I am dealing with."
Large arms would be hovering under the ceiling; robotic machinery for various purposes. There would also be a scanning device also mounted on the top. All very high tech. "I can scan just about anything in this room. Including yourself." She chuckles a little. "You are not carrying anything you'd like to keep secret, are you?"
"Not only you would like to know what we have to deal with, you know? I am curious too, oh and don't believe I don't understand what you are doing!" She had a confident smile appearing on her face, just for a few moments though, Grubo's question about her having secrets with her made the smile cease away. "Mmmh, why don't you just give scanning me a try then?" She gave back, smirking. The device would find a small knife, a fan as well as a small glass tube if Grubo decides to scan Minami as well.
She giggles a little back. "Perhaps I don't need to. You were already checked while coming down here, anyway." She grins a little and then turns towards the containers. "Alright... lets begin a scan on these crates, shall we? Of course.... the inside might have a protective defense to stop us from scanning, but I will be seeing the locking and defense mechanism primarily... Alright.... <typing> Initiate Scanning Procedure...."
The scanning mechanism, a long arm that is similar to what would be on a printer but blown up huge and hanging off the roof, starts to move and go over the container. Red lines of laser light shine down. Grubozaboyschikov turns back around again. "So... tell me again... how did you go about getting this thing?"
Minami decided to not comment on the scan, as well as the possible mechanism of the containers and just curiously looked at what Grubo was doing the entire time, once she turned around to her again Mi started to smile weakly. "Mmh, let's say that I stumbled upon a little thief who stole some containers but wasn't able to open them. I gave him just a few credits and a bottle of Sake and they were mine as result."
"I'm just wondering where it might be heading. Such information would be useful to know in order to estimate the type and difficulty of the lock. You wouldn't necessarily be overdoing a lock if not needed... as such would be less cost effective... unless it would be something very valuable inside..." She thinks, stepping to the side and walking around her. "Similar if... you had a prisoner you'd want to lock up... you wouldn't over-do it unless needed." She giggles a little.
The scanning wold be only 25% complete, visualized on the monitor display by a classic loading bar. Grubozaboyschikov would look at it and then seem to remember something. "Oh... pardon me. She would reach into her pocked and take out an orange cylindrical small tube, taking it to her arm and revealing a similar one that was almost empty. Quickly, she replaces the tube and sighs with a little satisfaction.
"They were supposed to go straight to the Kusari Naval Forces, Republican ones. Apparently to Kyushu, so they would have been used against the Imperials. Something new as I assume, considering how the Republican forces got slapped in Kyushu.." She said with a weak smile which quickly ceased as she saw what Grubo was doing. For a brief second her expression became cold before she just smiled again.
"Not at all, it's fine, fully fine." She gave back in a somewhat friendly tone, though she didn't want to look Grubo all the time in the eyes while saying this and ended up glimpsing aside at the last two words.
Before she wanted to mention something, a beep sound came from the monitor and interrupted them. Grubozaboyschikov turned around to look back at the console."Ah I see.... the scanning is still going but there are already references being pulled of similar designs stored in our databanks... hmm.... yes... Something that I had been thinking about. They have used a similar scheme but with a bit of reworking." She sighs and shrugs. "Unless the scan shows later a odd surprise, I think this can be opened quite quickly."
"Glad to hear to this. So much to advanced security measures, I guess." She smiled, this was already going just as expected. Hopefully it was worth it in the end.
