Hey, uhh... I've run both FAM and the installer as an admin, do have full admin rights on my system, and do have both comdlg32.ocx and comdlg32.dll in my system32 on Windows Vista. Though I still get this error, DBoy and me are teh confuzzled.

Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies is not correcty registered: a file is missing or invalid

Sorry if i'm being impatient, I'd just like to use FAM, and curious if anyone knows of a solution to a strange problem such as this.

er I tried to use this program and now I got some problems.


I CAN'T ACCESS ANY OF MA CHARACTERS!!!!


it may not be the program it self but.....


Well any way I try to log into ma characters and the multilayer crashes, oh and sometimes I get in but it crashes when I try to launch from a station.

What do you mean by "can't access my chars"?

All the program does is to write an account to the registry. It can't deny you access to your chars.

Maybe you were banned from the server?

I had the same ocx problem and fixed it by not installing to programe files, but by selecting browse and installing on drive c:/, it now works fine for me. using vista.. hope this helps
