Agreed. Not enough people roleplay a fear of death... it's great to see this being used. Those revolutionaries that attacked earlier would flee if it looked like any were going to lose a ship too, for instance.

If you want to see all of the Alliance dead (all major houses) and you're bloodthirsty and looking to kill all bloodlines so to speak of said houses, wouldn't you take a stand against everybody? Not just the houses and go, "OHAI, Xenos! U want pwn NY with meh?"

See, because like it or not, Xenos are still Liberty.
Dragons are still Kusari.
Mollys are still Bretonian.
And the Unioners are still Rheinlandish.

So if you were looking for a new Sirius order, I doubt you'd let anything that remembered the old ways still live.

I'd guess they look at it similarly to my Lane Hacker. She's an enemy of the Xenos, true, but that's secondary to her main target, and they're useful if only as distractions so she can pursue her goals.

See, because like it or not, Xenos are still Liberty.
Dragons are still Kusari.
Mollys are still Bretonian.
And the Unioners are still Rheinlandish.

They want better stuff for the workers, not just kill everything- they find supporters in the Xenos, the Unioners, and the Bundschuh because of this. They may not agree with each other as far as what to do when they win, but they all hate the capitalist regimes of their nations/Sirius and are willing to put aside their differences for the time being.

Plus, the SCRA need to have a tag, and nothing fits better than Xeno.

Yeah, when I'm leading attacks, at any rate, I don't allow Xenos in group, and we don't give them much in the way of respect, since Ares and Richthofen (my SCRA characters) both consider many members of the Xenos to be somewhat fascist.

On the tag, I guess that Unioner wouldn't be too bad, but Unioners have positive links to too many factions we consider hostile, which would really confuse people and spoil rep sheets.

Not so much that they have allies, but they're not openly hostile to factions which the SCRA consider hostile. Also, they have positive rep-links to factions such as the Rogues, I believe, much like Bounty Hunters have a positive link with Freelancers. Little things like this make things awkward.

Eh... positive links? To whom? I checked in FLStat. Only people they like are the Bundschuh and Zoners.
