[PRIORITY]: Omega - Very High
[ENCRYPTION]: Omega - Very High
Admiral.
For some time now the Division has utilized some rag tag resources to receive intel and act upon it. While they are sufficient, it's disorganized, and I'm not sure how well that would look on paper.
With your approval, I'm requesting the authorization of two special operations squadrons to be formed, one based out of the Battleship Omaha, and another on reserve stationed on Juneau.
Sierra Squadron is currently based out of the Battleship Omaha, one of the ship's two sets of small fighter wings housed in the docking bay there. For a time, they've been assigned to merely defend the ship when she's been alone in the water, but the ships are slowly being outfitted for more subversional work.
The ships, with exception to Sierra Lead, are Guardian-class fighters equipped for long range reconnaissance, attack and defensive operations. While the crew who flies them changes on a regular basis, the same ships always bear the same designation. 5th|R&D-Sierra-1 - Avenger VHF
5th|R&D-Sierra-2 - Guardian VHF
5th|R&D-Sierra-3 - Guardian VHF
5th|R&D-Sierra-4 - Guardian VHF
Omega Squadron is currently based out of Juneau Shipyard, where for months prior they've merely acted a fill in for the station's defensive wings. However, the ships are now being equipped for heavier work, improved weapons and defenses being tacked on to make them more capable in combat.
Omega Squadron currently consists of four Upholder-class bombers, each equipped with a different load specific to the situation. As with Sierra, the crews change, but the ships themselves always remain the same. 5th|R&D-Omega-1 - Upholder Bomber

5th|R&D-Omega-3 - Upholder Bomber

The ships are more-or-less prepped and ready, and merely require the final authorization. Give the word, and I'll get them mobilized.
