Well I was born in Bretonia, on Planet Leeds and studied on Planet Cambridge, my parents both worked for Cryer, one was a transporter to transport the goods and the other used to work on the dry docks and help move the cargo into the transporters. I always was interested in becoming a escort pilot or a young fighter pilot, because I enjoy the adrenaline, and having to move around quickly, be vigilante and be clever at the same time. It makes me have a hype and it something I enjoy watching and reading about.

Background - Jaye was born on planet New Paris to a middle-class family. His father served in the Royal Navy but was killed in action against Bretonian forces over Planet Leeds. After his death, Jaye decided to abandon his civilian job and join the Royal Navy. He was sent to the Leeds system and experienced heavy fighting. During this time his ship was shot down and fell into the atmosphere of Planet Leeds where it crashed landed, heavily injuring him. He was recovered by Gallic ground forces and was eventually discharged from the Royal Navy standard fleet on medical grounds, but recovered fully. He lived for a short time on Planet Leeds, serving with the Planetary Forces fighting there, but now seeks to take to the stars again.

Why do you want to join the Foreign Legion? - After my ship was shot down, I lived on Planet Leeds for a while. But now I'm ready to serve the Crown again. I chose the Foreign Legion because I want to be at the spearhead of the war effort, and I Just felt like it was the right thing to do.
