As much of luck as I give you but I'd say you should wait and improve within a bit more before you apply for officialdom.
Hey shelco I think youll find we have been branching out in the RP arena. We have many ongoing communications with specific factions like IRG, Battlegroup Harmony, EFL, GMS and the KSP aswell as the RP for the upcoming Event Operation Ouruboros involving all the GRN factions.
Hell we even came to kyushu and tau 23 a few times to brainwash the 343 with our royalist propaganda.
Yeh the RNS Azure encounter was a bad one, Apologies for that
Note, for Operation "Ouruboros" once all RP is completed. It will lead to a server event involving all grn factions against ln baf council CR and 343. As they attempt to stop us escaping from coronado with reconnassaince data collected during the event.
Its gonna be a maginficent show and your faction will be invited to participate. I hope it will bring the whole server out in a show of strength.
So yeh dont dash us just yet

Well, first of all, the main idea of this fraction is a pretty good for RP. They are not similar with arrogant gauls and it makes thier RP... More open.
I noticed it, because this is the only one gallic fraction, that decided to work with us. May be it isn't a best gaul RP, but this is a good one.
They have some problems too, as for me.
Firstly, it's a recruitment center.

Ethnicity - Gaelic
Age - 47
Background - I've started in Picardy in GMS, after a lot of time and mining I had some money enough to equip a few cap ships, so now I have two, both with Royal Navy ID
Why do you want to join the Legion? - I think I can help in the Magellan, where my ships are parked and in near systems, you already seen me in the action.
Just look at this bio and application at all. It's a horrible one. And, moreover, you accepted it.
The same with it:
Quote:"Background -
Got out of the bounty hunting business, then realized I like fighting a bit too much.
Why do you want to join the Legion? -
I get to shoot the people who constantly insulted me. Who's laughing now?"
It's okay for unofficial fraction, but you don't want to be one, am I right?
The second bad thing is a forum RP. I noticed only Rusty Wing and Black Widow at Forum. I think, that you have to involve other people in it.
I was surprised by fact, that you decided to work with sirians, not with GMS or EFL.
They have many things to do and re-work.
Probably, the official status will motivate them.
Thanks for attention.
At retslife i hear what you are saying about faileas application. But bear in mind he was very new to the forums and worried about his english. So i didnt scrutinise his app to much. We were still putting things together at the time so i let it slide.
I will say though since his app his english and rp greatly improved so i think we can let him off
While you're taking the approach of being friendly to new factions, it doesn't make much sense roleplay-wise.
The Foreign Legion was historically something that all foreigners belonged to, volunteers or draftees from the Taus and Leeds. Unfortunately, since the thread has been nuked for a while, I can't link it - but it was still a concept that existed with GRN. The Foreign Legion always answered to the King and Royal Navy officers, and they weren't influential because of being mainly composed of foreigners.
My main issue/point is that RN seems to always take the option that goes against common sense and breaks perspective of what your faction is. Despite the fact that your faction description says that you are a division of GRN, your actions seem to appear as if you were a completely independent, not related to GRN or its diplomacy in any way.
Two examples come immediately to mind:
KSP offering joint training to the GRN - while every other GRN representative has shown skepticism to foreigners as is usual (especially to a police faction and not the government/navy), RN, going against the theme, has decided to agree to provide joint training for KSP, despite being in an all-scale war with multiple Houses, and even going as far as agreeing to provide GRN technology to it (which they deeply hold on to, to not lose the technology advantage to Sirians).
Asking the Zoners (and Sirians in general) to help with military supplying - The Zoners are historically hostile to GRN, iirc. They have never done anything nice to us besides shoot us in the Tau/Baffin systems. Note that while OSI/IRG are companies that were helpful before, but the average Zoner wasn't. They really should be treated skeptical at best.
Please don't get me wrong, I don't condemn your efforts in trying to promote activity, but is this the correct way to do it? Either your faction attitude or your faction lore needs to be altered to fit.
On a side note, please try to encourage more fair play - I've mostly seen needless ganks recently that left everyone feeling bitter.

I think, that I can talk about my side at least. Well, about this little contract. It was opened for gallic civilians, not for sirians at all.

I think, that you have to check it again, Ramke.
And I want to know... Where did you see "military supplying"? We didn't order guns or stuff like that. Only oil, promethere and polymers.
And, actually, you can see, that it was forced necessity. I was waiting around three days to get nothing. What do you offer to do, when communty doesn't want to play, as GMS or EFL? And, actually, we were not going to work with all zoners at all. That's why there a blank with "The proof of good relations with the Kingdom of Gallia".
To sum up, I'm afraid, that this is your misunderstanding. I didn't make this contract for sirians at all, no. There were not any of "military supplies", just usual building materials. And no, we were going to work only with loyal zoners. And it was, as I said above, forced necessity.
Do you have something to say else?

I don't know, GMS and EFL responded and supplied what you requested...
I would consider anything that is being shipped to the military as "military supplies", but that's debatable I guess.
Additionally,

kind of implies something else to me...
Anyway, I'm not going to debate it further and lead to another feedback drama or something, I just wanted to point it out.
For future information, IDF and EFL are the two main Shipping Corporations in Gallia.
EFL deal in Ship building and Fuel, whereas IDF is mainly a Shipping Corporation. These should have been your first port of call.
Both are Crown owned and therefore I was expecting them to take up the mantle, hence why GMS| held off for a few days.
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
Ramke does have a point there and I tried to include that inRP in my response to you, hoping it would get across without being powergame-y/oorp on my part. Regardless the deliveries were made and comms responded to .

And just to add to the above, I actually had not seen the thread until St.Denis dropped his reply in the thread hence the delay.
