Heya Nyx. Just a hint about the last comm to BDM. As far as I am aware (I am in Wilde and Shaggy spoke lots about his ship and all, so did others), the crew itself isn't infested, so isn't the ship. It's just Romanov who is infected.

I haven't read what Werdi is on about but Romanov is not even on the ship.

Doesn't matter, we know it's her ship due to the investigation from Liberty (when SeaFalcon did the whole check out and heard rumors about the BC)+ seen her fly/command it in the Core|

I have no clue what Werdi on about anyway, don't read other faction comms so yeah. But if it is roleplay and not meta no prob.
In relation to your info here Pie Chart, if you want to leave that air trimix having Hydrogen, you should come with some sort of explination. As it is now, is too far fetched and contravenes with basic science, for multiple reasons ( e.g. low mass molecules that have a very high chance of reaching escape velocity and leaking out of the atmosphere over the course of eons of planetary formation, the fact that hydrogen and oxygen have a very high tendancy to interract with eachother and becomming the liquid we all love and cherish in our alcohol etc.)
And, 19% oxygen is quite near the breathable domain for the avarage human, provided of course the pressure is similar to Earth's (19.5 to 23.5 being the accepted span), so I do not think you should have any medical issues at any time.
Concerning the Oxygen thing, references were mostly used.
Right, thanks for pointing it out I guess, but would be cool if you had a reference source? Not all of us are physicists, and this is sci-fi, realism can only go so far in FL. Though, I agree that things have to make logical sense. When I was helping decide the atmosphere I never knew anything about mass within the air being a thing, what with pressure and gravity being a factor, etc.
The partial idea behind Elgin is that it was an erratic gem with alien-qualities anyway. Weird in it's own way. I suppose the atmosphere could be fit into that

thanks for the oversight anyway
High hydrogen content could come from a vast number of under-ice hotsprings - but that would create more hydrogen "bubble" caves trapped under the ice layer - these would occasionally explode due to ice pack movement, and could provide Elgin with a unique environmental hazard.
In addition, the nearby nebulae has "rare inert gasses" that comprise its composition - introduce enough of those into Elgin's atmosphere, and you could have a truly alien world - think about argon, neon, xenon, krypton - and even, possibly, ognasson-chloride compounds, which could be theoretically stable under truly heavy-packed carbon dioxide ice, but do not naturally occur on Earth except in near-undetectable traces. Oxides of Xeon can be very dangerous - think about what this does to the current habitability of the world.
Fun fact: It would give Eglin dark purple sunsets if you get the composition mix right, when combined with nitrogen (blue).

As previously stated, you need some sort of explination, I never implied hydrogen can't be part of a planet's atmosphere. But there are some strong conditions that will have to be detailed to make it plausible. In any case, most atmospheres that have hydrogen in their compositions are those of gas giants (highly if not totaly unsuitable to any sort of human settlements).
As a reference, apart from the usual <type in subject on Google> and finding out there are close to a gazzilion hits on this subject, I'll put in a small link here which covers some basics in quite a nice fashion. Give it a read through and find yourself the nice explination you want to apply (e.g. strong gravity, very cold atmpshere, a combination of both, anomalies in the gravity disribution etc).
And especially this games is about sci-fi, the sci part should be considered as an equal to the fi part, my two cents.
One fast idea from the top of my head, would be to consider the planet having a strong gravity pull due to its mass, but consider a smaller than normal radius, thus having your own erratic planet (you can assume magnetic anomalies, earthquakes, tectonic effects stronger than the norm). What those two parametrs due in turn is increasing the escpae velocity, trapping the lighter molecules in a layer on top of the atmospere, making the atmosphere thicker and more susceptible to meto phenomenas. Also, considering the thickness and the way light propagets in gases, you should have some strange visuals phenomenas, I'd say perpetual sunset-like environment.
