Yesterday and today I transported 3000 units docking ring parts with the Mach
to Sabah shipyard. Yesterday I was escorted by lieutenant "Hellfire" Rascal of the
crayterian military. The journeys were uneventful.

Last night I took a new ship in Ageira fleet for a flight in Alberta system. My goal was to help out the Science Division in the Dark Matter Survey initiative. They are extremely interested in the dark matter storm that is approaching Alberta from galactic West.
The vessel in question, dubbed Ageira~Oort, based on proven Grizzly shuttle. This particular ship was designed and outfitted as a research vessel and carries a team of our best field scientists.
The first objective was to make a long range observations of the whole Alberta system in different wavelengths. This will allow our team to evaluate the general composition of the dark matter storm and it's position related to other stellar bodies in the system.
Here are two of the images in visible light range of the spectrum taken during the mission, among thousands of others:
The second objective of the mission was to explore the internal structure of the storm and obtain samples of particles and matter it consists of. This objective was only partially successful due to violent conditions within the storm.
Upon entering the cloud, I started to notice that all systems are dangerously overloaded by the radiation. Its gradient quickly raises from the front shockwave of the storm inwards, and stabilizes at the level of 4 kR/h. At this level, navigation systems were jammed to 21%, communication from within the cloud was impossible, and the power core of Oort was overloaded by about 31%.
Moreover, behind the initial shock wave, the storm incorporates an asteroid cloud of very hot and quick objects. They probably are remains of stellar bodies the storm has dragged and destroyed in systems it passed before. The objects vary in size from a mere dust particles to rocks of hundreds meters radius. The largest object caught by our sensors was roughly 800 meters in diameter.
Taking a huge risk, I decided to send a survey team with several hazmat containers to collect samples. This operation was a success and containers with dark matter particles and other components of the cloud where secured in the cargo hold of Oort.
Another attempt at different spot in the cloud was not as successful. A whole survey team was lost to the terrible explosion when they tried to extract samples from one of bigger objects.
Given the damage sustained by the systems of Oort from radiation, static discharges and the explosion, I decided to abort the mission at this point and return to Camrose Depot for resupply and repairs.
The samples and observations of the expedition were handled to science teams on Leduc station, Planet Denver and Pueblo station.

I write to report another survey mission in Alberta system, focused on dark matter storm that is approaching the system. This time we were better prepared. I ordered upgrades to Leonov, Bison-class armored transport that I usually use for hauling commodities. This ship is much better armored and shielded from hazards of the environment compared to the Oort.
We dived through the shock wave and ventured deeper in the storm. Static discharges inside the cloud affected our systems, but no critical damage was caused. We did more observations on the asteroid wave that closely follows the storm's front. Those rocks, although smaller than ones in Cold Lake Nebula, has much more velocity. I can only imagine what damage such bombardment could cause to planets and stations within Alberta.
Attaching sampling protocols in three different regions of the storm. I expect our astrophysics team to present results of the survey and estimate when the storm reaches inner regions of Alberta system. The most important for us is to understand the level of danger to Cold Lake Project installation and Leduc station.

Here is a brief report of repair operation conducted by Ageira and DSE with support of Rheinland and Bretonia authorities on the jump gate connection between Omega-3 and Omega-7 systems.
My crew and I made several shipments of Jump Gate Parts from Pueblo station to Elbe station, twice we were going in convoy with Agiera licensed contractors, and three times by an individual schedule.
I observed major influx of illegal transportation of Gate Parts through Rheinland by Kruger, Republican Shipping and even Zoner vessels. This is very disturbing as we don't know for sure where those parts came from, might be some defective leftovers sold by Pueblo dock supervisors for cash. I recommend to run in-depth internal audit of our storages and refurbishing lines.
In one case, I run into two Hessian pirates in a row in Stuttgart system. I paid them off with 10 millions of credits. Their tactics was just as low as I could have expected: one cruiser was waiting at the New Berlin jump gate, the other one (callsign MostlyHarmless) in trade lane some 20k into the system.
Otherwise, the deliveries were uneventful for me. However, I got an emergency report from one of our licensed contractors that is very disturbing to me and hints at involvement of BDM and alien elements in the whole situation with the jump gate.
Overall, our fleet did an excellent job to provide necessary repairs parts. Despite the fact that volume of delivery is about 2.5 times bigger than Superconductors for repairs on the Bretonian side of the connection, we finished it in just a few days, and majority of the part was shipped by the Big Three.

We are facing another Jump Gate incident in less than a month, which I would call an alarming trend. The current situation with Jump Gate between California and New York system begin unfolding just hours ago. Ageira~Leonov was dispatched within a few hours from the first reports to make an assessment of damage to the gate, its source and repairs strategy.
Upon arrival to the gate site in New York system, we made first observations of the anomaly. A cloud of irradiated particles is engulfing the construction and spans up to 3k clicks in all directions. Our sensors identified the cloud as an ionized gas holding together due to strong EM field. It is not clear yet if the cloud is causing the emissions, or is just a side effect of whatever else is the cause of it.
Leonov proceeded to the gate and we noticed some trace EM activity in the gas cloud. It proved to be not dangerous to properly shielded and armored vessel though. Telemetry teams scanned gate and its systems remotely, then we approached the installation and I sent survey crews to visually inspect it. Needless to say that remote management of the gate was completely unresponsive and no diagnostic information, let alone the logs of the incident itself, was recovered so far.
The gate itself has sustained some physical damage, most likely from small explosion inside the aperture grid. However, most of this damage is torn plating, crushed joints and surface scratches. Nothing that cannot be patched rather quickly with standard hull panels.
The most severe damage was done to electronic harness of the gate though. Most of circuits that control the aperture grid, the gate's flaps, docking access and jump sequence itself are literally scorched and melted and require complete replacement. We are estimating the required amount of replacement circuit boards at the moment, orders are to be placed to production facilities in a few hours.
I would recommend CEO of Ageira Innovations to issue a mobilization call to all our assets until this crisis is solved. No hostile ships were spotted in the vicinity of the gate, however, the New York system was raided by Outcast forces throughout a day, as per our readings. Therefore, extreme caution is to be used at all times, and armed escort recommended to all transports involved in the repair operation.

Reports of a highly unstable anomaly started to pop up in our Neural Net today. I dispatched the Oort, our explorer vessel, to study the anomaly. It made some extremely interesting findings. Mission log attached.
824-01-20 6:54 Visual of the anomalous nebula in sector C6 of Kepler system. 824-01-30 6:55 Scanned uncharted anomaly within the nebula. It proved to be a jump hole of unstable nature. 824-01-20 6:55 Short range scan revealed that the size of the anomaly will allow Oort to pass. 824-01-20 6:55 Taken jump through the hole. Ended up in extremely dense asteroid field, presumed to be a protoplanetary disc or similar object. 824-01-20 6:55 Long range observation of the start of the uncharted system. 824-01-20 6:57 Spotted a wreck of a mining base. 824-01-20 7:00 Closer look at the wreck revealed no life signs or energy signatures of any kind. 824-01-20 7:02 Another anomaly nebula spotted, seems to contain yet another jump hole. 824-01-20 7:08 Took the jump hole to Inverness system.
The return trip to Colorado system was quite uneventful. All samples and recordings are now passed to Ageira astro-physical laboratory for evaluation.
