The better examples of the old official faction reports would be a good template if not sure what may be of use.
We have had quite a big presence over forums for what the community can muster currently, I'd think this would rival or beat a lot of the current official factions. Here's a list of something scrounged up in ten minutes (there may be more, not sure):
While this could've been more, I think it's a decent achievement compared to the standard that the majority of official factions show. We have participated in the majority of events where MRG can participate, as well as making a few with Council that aren't written on forums (Thyr'zul can confirm).
The feedback we received on this thread is mostly positive and I've yet to hear of any serious unresolved issues/complaints that are actually based on solid arguments (if you would skim through the thread here).
I understand in-game activity might have been the problem, however the motivational hit from dealing with constant harassment/threats/demonising from our competitor (as seen #1#2#3) is something of a major factor in my MRG/even Disco activity personally...
I would really like to talk about this decision more (even in the green room if necessary), it very much feels like being kept in the dark.
Ramke, I approached you trying to clean things up.
Also, isn't the player who harassed you somewhat, what's the word or phrase I'm looking for here, unable to log? He's been neatly taken out of commission by the admins, leaving me to try to clean up a problem that shouldn't even exist, that only came into being on account of a perceived arbitrary limit that takes all of five seconds to disprove. And now that officialdom is off the menu for all involved, let's go raid Bretonia.

If it helps, Ramke's MRG story "Spaced out" is a nice contribution to that list. When Arbs isn't busy yelling MOAB MOAB MOAB and insulting people in the shoutbox, he does good nice RP on forum, and including KaFabbl worked nicely. I do like it when veterans include new people in their interactive stories and benefit from the creativity and quality of each other.
The really only bad thing I can say about MRG is the baiting for fights in California, and that isn't really a bad thing as both Gallic players and Liberty players want them to have ZoI in California.

I don't know what more you expect from a GRN faction. Sure, MRG could be more active, but same can be said for many other factions who have a lot more opportunities to do something ingame rather than fight the same people in the same places using the same ships over and over again, which gets boring after a while. If this doesn't fit your criteria, I doubt there'll be an official GRN faction anytime soon.
I saw the leaked screenshots of your votes, and I was sad when I saw how wrong the statements were considering none of you except Skorak looked further than the activity tracker and called a vote (or so it seemed that way). California fight baiting? The same California in which 2 big events and a destroyed station + a deployed battlegroup happened on top of a long overdue ZoI addition? Perhaps it'd have been better if people just logged off instead of trying to promote interaction. Besides, I doubt anyone but the admins who called it baiting actually thought it's baiting, considering there were little to no complaints from the Liberty lawfuls.
Activity alone means nothing which has been proven many times, and MRG does what it can considering the relatively limited options of the GRN ID. Not taking anything away from other GRN factions who no doubt have the same issue, I don't care about the drama between them.
Ramke is in the Green Room, with a series of concerns, let us wait and see what he makes of them.
I have looked at the vote and I suggest you relook at your screenshots, only one person partially mentions activity and that is in the context of the majority from a few players, not lack of it per se.
I have to say that I cannot agree to that decision as it will be doing more harm than good. GRN is a major component to the current lore and it affects a lot of other factions in a lot of regions. As an OFL representing the Liberty navy I have to say that following the disbanding of the old GRN, the gap left was felt not only by us but by many other factions around. MRG did quite well in filling that gap, and after a few encounters in New London, Leeds and surrounding systems, I was given good impressions and convinced that MRG would do great in taking that place as a faction with whom we would have to push the lore forwards with.
I also have to emphasize that this decision is going to have a rather negative effect, causing a drop in motivation and loss of hope to the faction members after waiting, even longer than needed by months for whatever reason, for this request to be processed. Apart from that I have to further enforce what Antonio has written above, that as a GRN faction MRG has fulfilled everything you can expect from a GRN faction. Sure more activity is never too bad, but that also comes after the faction consolidates itself.
With that being said, I cannot agree with
Quote:"We realise you have waited a while, which in some respects allowed the potential to vigourously strengthen your submission, however currently your approach in game and on forums is not setting the levels of example we would hope for in an Official Faction."
as it is something that's not "just going to cut it", in comparison to the input and potential given by this faction to the game. I think that more insight should be given, and I'm glad it's being sorted out in more detail in the greenroom.
Best of luck to you guys.

And this is why we can't have nice things. I guess it's just another poor decision on the admin team count. @Arbs and the others have explained it very well, there's a low chance that I will put it in a better way.
