This is really bad news. I havnt been in touch much with Rod since two years ago, but it was really nice getting to know him and throw jokes and casually argue around in the [LN] skype chats and have our own share of fun together. Rod had quite a future in front of him and i wish to give my condolences.
Truly a great guy and it was really shocking and difficult to comprehend he's gone. Rest in peace Rod. We all are going to miss you.
And there I was already wondering about a post by Sly-Bettle in Memorial thread a month ago.
I remember Rodent from my time in Order HC skype channel as 141| leader. We had good constructive discussions as well as some quarrel here and there.
It`s really sad to hear that has has passed away in such young age.
For myself, my best memory of him will be us flying into Liberty space as order. Him as Tawaret und me and some others as 141|Interceptors. I don`t think he ever had such a good laugh while he tried to roleplay seriously with JihadJoe. What did he say in group chat? "//FFS, guys, stop it, can`t concentrate on RP due to laughing my ass off ?" Or something like this.
Damn, just damn. He helped the great deal not just for me but to Order as 1iC and later 2iC on repeated occasions and enriched Disco as a whole. Too soon, way too soon. Deffinately a legend around here.
Rodent, was a great guy, a good asset to this community, my condolences go to all his close family and friends. R.I.P friend. May your soul rest quietly.
Order|, [LN], GRN|. GRN| would have never stayed alive without him, Joe, Danny...I wouldn't have gotten far at all without him.
He was a great guy. Honestly it was an honor to know him. It kind of feels like my gut was punched. He was a friend, a leader, and someone who stayed level all the time. He was a fantastic roleplayer. A fantastic person.
My soul weeps for such an early loss - Rodent was a man of knowledge and wisdom. I only got to know him based on rare occasions - coordinating some joint-RPs or random discussions - but it was more than an honour to meet him. He was a lore-master, a leader, a talented person and someone who will indeed be missed greatly.
Rest in peace, you laggy Indian. You will be sorely missed by the community. I know you never were too fond of me, and I probably reciprocated, but nobody deserves to lose their life at such a young age.
