Description de la/des situation/-s
Situation un:
Our scouts during the next patrol of the system occupied by our troops, discovered a large group of enemy capital ships. Without entering the enemy's zone of visibility, they successfully reported to the top command about the approach of the enemy. Judging by all, they were going to one of the outposts of our army. We immediately assembled a defensive fleet and took a position at the Glasgow outpost. Indeed, an hour later there were enemy forces. Apparently, they set themselves the goal of disabling the station. Only one captain on the part of the enemy behaved politely enough to attempt diplomatic negotiations and, it is worth saying that it was a failure. Their conditions were that we should literally surrender and retreat until they finish their operations. All this was accompanied by numerous ridicule on the part of the enemy. Of course, our response was a refusal. A bloody battle ensued, which resulted in the destruction of almost the entire enemy fleet, and the main ship of the enemy was seriously damaged, but managed to escape. I am sure that we will be assigned to work on the fortification of this station, since the enemy is likely to make another attempt at attack.

Topic: Small flight through New London
Description de la/des situation/-s
Situation:
During a quick flight through the New London system I encountered a bretonian police officer. Every thing he claimed was, that I am going to make his "afternoon patrol" more "exciting". Probably got more exciting, even though he might float around in space now. The fight was quick, he occasionaly hit me with his missiles but my Razor tore his hull apart. The poor dog wasn't even able to utilize all his nanobots before his hull was ripped apart. That is one bretonian less to worry about for a while.

Description de la/des situation/-s
Situation:
During a patrol through Tau-23 I ran into this freelancer with a Bretonian gunboat docking on the Outcast station. Upon closer inspection he seemed to have 98 of our pilots onboard, which he refused to hand over. I subsequently engaged his vessel, and with the help of monsieur Moreau he was blown up in Newcastle after a wild multi-system chase.
After this we ran into a SIS agent called The Redcoat, which unfortunately managed to take down both our vessels. Passing patrols got our pods and delivered us safely to New Tours.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Topic: Attack on the California System
Description de la/des situation/-s
Situation:
Our forces gathered for an attack on the California system not long ago. I took part in this attack. We clashed several times with the Libertonians at different positions. It also seemed that the Crayterians made their way into California as well, assisting the Libertonian forces. We had a hard battle though most of our ships had taken minor damaged after we returned.
During the fight I noticed Libertonian ships that attacked their own forces. They seemed to be part of a different organization, not the regular Libertonian Navy. Their transponders were locked on the name "Battlegroup Harmony". Whoever that Battlegroup is, they seem to fight against their own people, regardless of our presence.

Topic: Bretonian Police Pilot Captured
Description de la/des situation/-s
Situation:
I was patrolling the Leeds system when I came across a Bretonian Police officer. As strange as it sounds, he was flying alone, without any backup. Apparently he was here for personal reasons but who cares about the reasons of them anyways. After I chased him through half of the system he stopped. The next thing was an 'information' about what is going to happen next and since I was in a good mood, I decided I'm going to take him with me. The fight was over pretty quickly, a few mines and his ship exploded. I tractored in the pod and started to move back to Gallia.
During the whole flight he was asking me questions about what is going to happen to him. I brought him over to Planet New Paris to on of our installations at Saint Denis. He's now there waiting for further transport or initial questioning.

[01.11.2017 11:27:58] MRG|Amelie:Caron: Normally I'd want your head but since I'm in a good mood, I'll take your pod. *chuckles*

[02.11.2017 13:30:23] MRG|Marcel.Patulacci: There is a central authority, with the power to beat back inhumane corporations and protect its people.
[02.11.2017 13:30:40] MRG|Marcel.Patulacci: What security is there to be found in Liberty if you're not part of the lucky, wealthy few ?
[02.11.2017 13:31:10] Perfect_Nightmare: none
[02.11.2017 13:31:30] MRG|Marcel.Patulacci: Everywhere, corruption, prejudice, social barriers... You'll find no more of those when we annex this place.

After having been horrendously insulted by the local militia, one of them, apparently belonging to some 5th fleet, finally managed to catch up with me. After having disgraced herself through the most distasteful of conducts ("filth", "pile of dirt", "idiot" were used, betraying a clear lack of imagination), the pilot brought dishonour to her badge with lamentable flying skills. I powderised her inside five minutes with minimal effort.
Following this sad display, I resumed my broadcasts and was saluted by one Liberty Rogue, cheering for our victory. I hailed him, though not without reminding him that Rogue practices would need to be discussed by the time of our victory and subsequent annexation of Liberty.
More interestingly, I was contacted by a Freelancer pilot, callsign theJaeger, flying one of those understated and frankly hilarious "Stargazer" shuttles that the Sirian lower classes seem to enjoy. He offered me very valuable information about enemy positions and even offered to clear a path for me through the lanes between New York and Magellan. I was quick to accept, and this decision saved me on two occasions : a gunboat, then a carrier (the same Andre_SD we crossed paths with earlier) were lying in wait on my flight path. I managed to evade both thanks to this pilot's effort. I rewarded him with a few francs for his trouble, and I suggest we keep an eye out for him : friendly contacts are hard to come by in this part of space. Details of our interactions are also present in the audio log.
This concludes my report of today's events.
Pour le Roi, pour la Gaule.

Bonjour soldiers,
This evening was quite unusual for somebody like me, but I am glad we all did well and survived one more day on the front. First of all we've received a report about gunboat of the Bretonian Privateers lurking around Indochine in Gironde system. While en route to Indochine I've received a call from friendlies in Ariége requesting reinforcements against Bretonian spy. With lone Lynx I couldn't stand a chance against Privateer so I quickly changed course to Ariége instead in order to support Capitaine Moreau. En route, I met that Privateer Gunboat which tried to chase me, however with better agility of my vessel I managed to gain some time to regroup with Capitaine at Holman outpost. There we decided to engage the Privateer with assistance of Holman and surrounding stations. However we had to retreat back very soon as Bretonian spy and yet another Privateer arrived to Holman. Luckily one of our Gunboats arrived as well and we were able to engage Bretonian fools. We took down their gunboat, but before that we had lost Capitaine Moreau to their forces. Capitaine's pod was secured and with "Destin" we engaged remaining forces of Bretonia. Heavily outnumbered we managed to hold them for a while before Sous-Lieutenant Patulacci arrived and assisted us. Queen Carina's Privateer went down shortly after their Gunboat, then Bretonian Armed Forces lost Ensign went down by guns of "Destin" and finally one more of the Carina's Privateers went down by my and Patulacci's hands. Bretonian spy managed to flee even if he resupplied once against us and one Privateer managed to escape during fight, leaving his comrades to die. What a hero.
This was a great battle for us! We lost one bomber of Capitaine Moreau who sucessfuly distracted Bretonians for a short time, but long enough for us to eliminate their gunboat.
Hostile forces lost one(1) Gunboat, three(3) Templars and one(1) Raven's Talon and one(1) Templar cowardly escaped from the battle.
A bit later I went to Tau-37 where I found one(1) Passenger liner filled up by Slaves confiscated by IMG. They handled situation well and left me with no work. Soon enough however a Lane Hacker transport arrived to the system. With absence of Cruise Disruptor I could do nothing and meanwhile IMG disappeared suspiciously fast from radar so I couldn't request any help from them. On the other hand however, I managed to get some of Hacker's Counterfeit Software for a small price. Hopefully GRI will find out more about these things.
That's all however, visual evidence is attached below. Hopefully someone, probably Capitaine Moreau will describe what we have found out about Kruger during the trip to our homeworld.
I have conducted the scheduled patrols of the Core Systems (Dauphine, Orleanais & Ille-de-France). The former two were uneventful with minor elements of pirates that have been driven away from the area. A particular lot were found in the asteroid fields, but given the danger of going there without appropriate escort, I have only noted their locations. Engaging them while outnumbered and no back up realistically in sight, it would have been too one-sided to continue. All others have been eliminated or they've maneuvered through the asteroids out of scanner sights. I would consider this a success, however it may be worth noting that activity seems to have increased within the Core Systems.
While conducting patrols in the capitol system, I've received a communication from a Gallic Metal Services ship asking for assistance in getting rid of an unknown ship carrying civilian pilots in the Picardy system. The GMS captain also mentioned that it was a "Scimitar" type, which was unknown to both of us. I've forwarded his request to the GRN communications channel and proceeded to make way. However, something unnatural blipped up on my scanner on the route - it seemed to be a base of unknown origin. It appeared to have a vast hold of cargo space, and seemingly abandoned. Judging that this is worth investigating as it didn't appear on any modern nav maps, I've attempted to enter the station - it was still active. Grabbing my pistol, I've went out to check for any indicators on what this station was and whether I would be able to find anyone alive. Slowly navigating through the dim lighting - the station's lights were long without maintenance - I've found nothing worth noting until I've reached the cargo area. It was mostly clear, however a few large crates bearing unfamiliar insignia were placed in the middle. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a type of space fighter weaponry along with a bundle of documents concerning research about them, titled "TDGWM5K". It didn't seem to be our technology - perhaps it was some Sirian tech? There were a total of 4 of these weapons in the crates.
Nevertheless, I've radioed for backup to retrieve this and returned to navigating the station. This place had not been touched for a long time with doors and lights malfunctioning in certain corridors, stray asteroids bashing into the hull of the station echoing the sound all over. There were no signs of bodies in the main hallways or any other activity besides these strange sounds.
The final top section of the station was the control tower, where I was able to access the still-working computer for any information. Unfortunately, it was clear of everything - all the files were deleted. The only noteworthy thing I've noticed was a handwritten note on top of one of the consoles with the code <REDACTED> written. It may have been coordinates, but not in our format. Again, it may have been Sirian. I have not dared to look deeper into the maintenance corners of the station and slowly returned to my ship to wait for back-up.
A freighter along with a fighter escort arrived after roughly half an hour, where the freighter crew were able to carry the weaponry back to the freighter with the help of exoskeletons. I was assured that it would have been handled from here, so I have left to the nearest station to debrief. The weaponry and documents were supposedly shipped to the nearby Naval Intelligence Melun Research Institution for research.
Sender: Commissaire Général Rosalie Saint-Yves Recipient: Marine Royale Gauloise - Transmission Centre Subject: New Directive
Bonsoir,
Excellent work in the field so far to everyone. It seems that both the war effort and peacekeeping are both a success.
We have two new mission directives available to those who are approved for espionage and scouting:
1.) We have recently discovered that there are rogue Liberty Navy ships occasionally participating in skirmishes that have been shooting their own. Nothing is known about them other that they seem to be actively prioritising their own over our warships.
High Command has granted permission to send agents in small craft to the Liberty front and possibly further into it for information gathering. Your goals are to find out the reason we have seen these ships and what their goals are. Preferably, we would wish for a contact to be arranged should you obtain information on where to send this communication, or to which person it is addressed.
2.) As recently reported to us about a hidden abandoned station found within the Kingdom, we have found something noteworthy located in its contents. While the information appears to be gibberish, it is likely that these appear to be coordinates to a different location. High Command has expressed interest in the people behind this derelict station as the station contained cargo of high value.
It is clear that these coordinates are not in Gallic format, therefore it is likely estimated that they are located outside of Kingdom territory. Agents are requested to conduct patrols in less-frequented places surrounding the Kingdom and its fringes to find clues on where the group may have disappeared. The likely candidates are: Bretonia, Tau Systems, Kusari Connection.
That is all for now. We wish you luck.

Messieurs, mesdames,
My latest operation took me, once again, in the heart of Liberty, the New York system. As a reminder, mission objectives were to seek, identify and contact possible separatist elements within the Liberty Navy.
Initial scanner readings upon my entry in the system revealed next to no activity, merely civilian traffic. My flight path took me deeper into the system as I maintained watch, and this went on for a solid twenty minutes. No hostile contact appeared, be they seperatist or not. From this, I deduced that one of two things might have happened. Either enemy signals intelligence failed to pick up my trail, or they did and elected not to dispatch forces to counter a single vessel.
Either way, I took offense to this, switched on my automatic identification system and started broadcasting on all frequencies. The reasoning behind this admittedly foolhardy decision was that I needed to elicit a response from the opposing forces. At the time, this seemed like the smartest way to draw attention from possible separatist forces, who might have kept silent thus far out of fear of being alone in their fight. Therefore, I made an open call for anyone willing to fight the Libertonian tyranny to get in contact with us and attempted to dispel the enemy's propaganda painting us as power-hungry monsters. I am aware of the obvious risks I took and how this approach went against standard intelligence gathering practices. I will assume full responsibility and accept any sanction you deem appropriate for the resulting consequences of my actions.
Here are my conclusions of the operation.
Item #1 : the Order.
- Identified elements from a rogue cell calling itself the Order. Their agents kept their identity hidden for as long as they could. Primary motivation is fighting against... Huh... My notes read "Organised alien race bent on the complete annihilation of mankind". It's what I could extract from our conversation. I will not comment upon the likeliness of this scenario. However, I will redirect you to an earlier report I cobbled together with what few elements I had available after a particularly severe encounter.
- Agents of the Order seem to possess high technology, a large amount of assets and very strong projection capabilities. The garbled signatures I could pick up from their platforms corresponded to warships of significant tonnage : considering we have no record of any forward base operated by this Order in this sector, either they know how to move large assets fast and discreetly, or they've prepositioned said assets in their areas of interest... Even if said areas include the heart of a major House. In either case, this shows them to be a very capable fighting force : a dangerous, unpredictable opponent, or a very valuable ally for decisive surgical strike-type operations.
- However, their political stance is strongly defined : they wish to stay neutral and have no alleged interest in inter-House warfare. Their sole point of interest is fighting their grand war against this terrible enemy, which raises the question of why they'd deploy heavy assets in the center of civilised space. I find faults in their logic, and I suggest we capitalise on them to coax them into working for us. First line of argumentation is that our endgame of uniting the Houses under one banner entirely coincides with their goal of uniting mankind against the alleged alien threat. This is a lead I recommend we follow.
[29.11.2017 21:51:43] Order|CV-Deceres: ?: Luckily I am not one to side with Houses. Far worse things lurk in the dark that Humans need to war with.

[29.11.2017 22:08:07] Order|CV-Deceres: ?: Trust me, you have seen nothing. The fleets of Nomads beyond the known space to Humans is far greater than you
[29.11.2017 22:08:10] Order|CV-Deceres: can imagine.
[29.11.2017 22:08:13] MRG|Marcel_Patulacci: I think your organisation could work well with us. We aim for unity : surely that would benefit your aims, as well.
...
[29.11.2017 22:09:01] MRG|Marcel_Patulacci: But then you should see the value in uniting the Houses.

Item #2 : unknown cell, callsign H|.
- Contact established with a representative of a cell identified only by the letter H. This report will now refer to them as Hotel. No visual confirmation, but we've exchanged several communications.
- Hotel operatives keep a tight secrecy on their identities, their motivations, the means at their disposal and their endgame. Operative codenamed Tau-1 inquired upon the Gallic military's agenda, which I provided, keeping with the most publicly available information. Libertonian and Bretonian propaganda runs deep, and we will need to focus our efforts on addressing the issue if we are to secure a permanent foothold in these Houses.
- Operative codenamed Tau-1 quickly took my side when the Libertonian navy, frustrated at not finding me, started abusing me on the frequencies I was using. It appears my arguments helped shed a more positive light on our war effort : I elaborated on this and promised them support should they contact us, which operative Tau-1 seemed to accept.
[29.11.2017 21:47:39] MRG|Marcel_Patulacci: Our agenda is not one of annihilation and death, mystery man.
[29.11.2017 21:47:51] H|-Tau-1: What is your agenda then?
[29.11.2017 21:47:52] MRG|Marcel_Patulacci: Violence was deemed unavoidable, but it is not and has never been our endgame.

...
[29.11.2017 22:01:05] MRG|Marcel_Patulacci: Again, I will ask all of you fighting this regime, or willing to, to get in touch with us.
[29.11.2017 22:01:22] MRG|Marcel_Patulacci: Gallia will support you, give you arms and guarantees.
[29.11.2017 22:01:32] MRG|Marcel_Patulacci: And together, we will finally bring justice and fairness to this people.
[29.11.2017 22:02:22] H|-Tau-1: Your message has been heard.
Item #3 : Murderers for hire, callsign Forlorn.
- I have included thIs outfit for the sake of the completeness of this report. There is not much to say.
- Murderers for hire. They have mentioned working for the Council, which speaks volumes about how low our Republican adversaries have sunk.
- Inadequate tactical and operational capabilities. Subpar fighting abilities and their operative, callsign Chrysaetos, who posed as their founder (and seemingly enjoys giggling and chuckling to a worrying degree for someone who pays their rent with blood money), was promptly dispatched by sous-lieutenant Enzo Lacroix, who is to be commended for his excellent conduct in the field.
[29.11.2017 21:51:57] Forlorn|-Chrysaetos: Sarah: A gallic? Ohh, there's always a good bounty on them.
...
[29.11.2017 22:01:49] Forlorn|-Chrysaetos: Sarah: And now, show yourself, I have a bounty to claim. *chuckles*
...
[29.11.2017 22:11:20] Forlorn|-Chrysaetos: Sarah: Sorry, the Council pays well. Way too well.
...
[29.11.2017 22:26:26] Death: Forlorn|-Chrysaetos was put out of action by MRG|Enzo.Lacroix (Gun).
Item #4 : Libertonian forces.
- About what you've all come to expect.
- I was engaged in a fair fight by a member of the 5th fleet, callsign Nazawo Ayato. The extended duration of my patrol had taken a toll on my acuity and alacrity as well as my fuel reserves : he gained the upper hand, but not by a large enough margin : I managed to take both of our ships out in a risky maneuver and was, thankfully, rescued by the victorious lieutenant Lacroix.
Attached is a guncam shot I took from the capital ship mobilisation triggered by the presence of just the two of us. I will leave the conclusions to Fleet Intelligence.
Final observations :
- I wish to stress that the intervention of lieutenant Lacroix was absolutely paramount to the success of this mission. Thanks to his timely arrival on the theatre, I was able to bring back valuable information and secure our contacts with possible separatist cells, while taking out two of the opposing force's ships at the cost of one of ours. I believe this should be reflected upon his operational rating.
- Liberty continues to show itself as a divided House, home to many strong local actors. Despite the high level of pressure our offensive is applying on the entire House, there seems to be no sign of a cohesive unification of the opposing force against us. We must strive to preserve this strategic context, which will work to our advantage on the medium term.
This concludes my report of today's events.
Pour le Roi, pour la Gaule.
