You'll never get it included on the FL ID, too big. Your best bet would be go with another quasi-lawful ID that allows the cargo size and just SRP for it. Used to fly with a Junker L'ane a lot, can't remember who had it though. Was a decent combo. And you haven't even considered the inrp consequences. The brigands get pretty defensive about the use of their ships by outsiders. It can be done, but best get permission or be prepared to fly with a helmet on.
Well, the main issue behind making PTrain available to Freelancer was one thing: it is illegal in all but one House and belonging to Z-Line (edit: minus offensive Molly/Rogue ships), which is open to all unlawfuls and quasi-lawfuls (although seeing Hogosha or FA flying Bactrians or PTransports is a bit weird, at least to me).
Edit 2: We always could a compromise and invent quasi-lawful Gallic and Sirian 3600 cargo space ships to fulfill needs for Freelancer ID. Seeing dozens of Serenities around is sorta boring, because they are the biggest cargo ships available for FL ID.
Edit 3: I still want that boy to be inside game as new model for Mammoth.

Thank you for everything.
If someone wants to fly a L'Ane without an nerf, he should get the correct id. It is a special ship from a special Faction with a RP background. There is no need to give the Freelancers ID's even more goodies.

I think the main issue with using Brigand ID is the fact that unlawful IDs are not good for smuggler RP. Unlawful ID is shot on sight, no exceptions, hence why 80% of smugglers around are Freelancer ships.
Not to mention all Gallic unlawful factions suffer, because there's barely anything to do inside Gallia.

And FL ID should not have access to all great ships that overstep their cargo limitations. It seems that some people have hugner for more, bigger, better ships to be flown with most neutral ID there is without consideration that FL ID comes with drawbacks.
This is where we both agree, @SnakThree. My concern is that there are factions which aren't really appealing, sometimes even having better counterparts in their own ZOI.

I don't count Council in here, because they are governmental anti-Royal faction. Brigands have nothing to do. Maquis have nothing to do. Unione Corse (albeit QL) have nothing to do either.
