I have been staying quiet about this for a while now, and I have also tried to defuse the situation on multiple occasions, but you seem to be unwilling to do so. Because of this, I will now officially retract my support for your officialdom, and also give you reason why.
When Shelco contacted me about forming DWR, and that he'd be interested in continuing VWA's legacy as an RP-focused faction with many an opportunity to RP, I figured I could maybe get my old character out of the corner she was gathering dust in, and I furthermore informed @Shelco BACK THEN that I wouldn't be interested in taking over DWR. We even figured out a few ways how we could possibly integrate FW into DWR, and agreed that we wouldn't plan this too far and instead saw where the RP got us.
Then Shelco left, and a new leadership took over. I got contacted by you guys again, and for a while, was in your discord too, and frankly I had hopes that you could make DWR a faction both representing the Bundschuh well and also a faction to RP with. I reminded you multiple times of the RP that was going on, and I heard literally no objections from your leadership, aside from multiple occasions where a certain someone in your Discord who I am not going to name because I want to avoid trial by forum flung insults at me and accused me of exactly that - trying to coup you, that I should 'pack my things and keep my RP with me', that the Bundschuh had 'moved on'.
It was then that I posted FW's faction writeup. Yet again, I included a line that we're not interested in replacing DWR. That we probably won't even request officialdom. That we officially endorse your request. Want to know what your reaction was?
You accused us of ooRP grudges against you - a notion that I found quite ridiculous, given the fact that our interactions had so far not gone any further than Discord, and especially the person flinging the insults and accusing me of such had joined during a time where I had neither any character on the server nor logged in for months. I was even accused of 'stealing your forum formatting', an issue that I replied with by linking VWA's infopage from which your formatting originally came from - a move that got me kicked from your Discord, and I have yet not been invited back. Not that I really wanted to come back in the first place.
I tried solving the issue, and I approached you. Again. I refrained from posting on this thread, because honestly I still didn't want to obstruct your way to officialdom. I've been a victim of vets returning and trying to attack and devalue my RP myself, and as such I still didn't want to become that person. I got told that I shouldn't reduce the behaviour of a faction to one hateful person, and that was, to be fair, correct - and after this, nothing appeared on this thread from my side.
Another few weeks passed, weeks during which you have repeatedly done the same, only this time behind closed doors, in chats in which I have no access to. You've tried generating sentiment against me, yet again accused me of trying to coup you, of hating you for some inexplicable reason, and lately, that you are just waiting on FW's RP to end up being finished, a point during which you apparently try to report me for it. I've even seen logs of people accusing me of breaking my own character's lore (you know, the thing I should know best about) just to screw you over.
Let me be clear.
I don't give a damn about leading your faction, nor do I give a damn about being the official Bundschuh faction. The fact that FW, a faction that you accuse of 'trying to steal your officialdom' and 'coup you' neither has an officialdom request nor a recruitment thread, as well as an EXPRESS STATEMENT THAT WE'RE NOT INTERESTED IN OBSTRUCTING YOU, proves that, hopefully, enough.
But.
While I don't need you to like me and cannot force you to, FW was created and conceptualized as a faction to RP with and about. Aside from the sole comm that we had, which the only person in your faction that apparently sees reason replied to until it got shut down by another, very angry person, I have seen literally NO RP from your side related to FW, I have seen NO attempt at mending the gap, and neither have I gotten the impression that you would be interested. You seem to be much more certain in sh*t-talking me, my faction etc behind my back and trying to ooRPly prepare for a coup that won't come.
No, I still don't want to coup you. I still don't want to obstruct your way to officialdom. In the few months that I have been RPing around Annika's return, I never wanted to, and that hasn't changed. But what I want, right now, is for you to take a stand on this, and apologize for the treatment you've been giving me, and STOP. Because what you are doing right now is neither worthy of an official faction leader, nor is it in any way acceptable from a human standpoint.

I'll chip in that both my chat and areas of the forum I've been involved in have been impacted by either DWR members or friends of DWR members stating, as if it were fact, that Char apparently created a revenge faction with no InRp origin.
This isn't true. A couple of minutes using the search tool on the forums will make this obvious, or a look at Char's post history. I've known char for years, VWA (now DWR) for years. This isn't what is going on. Even if he did (he didn't), what on earth is a "revenge faction"?
A similar faux-controversy occurred when the rumour-weed attempted to claim Zeph', upon return, invented spontaneously a relative of the previous Kusarian Emperor, when he didn't; the character had significant RP history.
A general rule is, if you think a person is guilty of wrongdoing, don't behave in a manner normal for a human being under 15 and spread negative discord rumours. If they turn out to be untrue, you're going to be the fall-guy, not the person who is being badmouthed.
Let's keep it real. I like DWR, I like the Spring Guard. The situation itself is absurdium, Salem Witch-trial stuff. Its now got to the point that lead story devs for the area, who want both of you in the Rheinland dev chat, won't have representatives for both groups there because they're afraid of the two of you tearing yourselves to pieces.
Enough. I've personally banned all mention of the controversy in UN chat, as the Rumour Mill is starting to impact my faction, as well. You both have excellent faction leaders and Rheinland is big enough for the two of you.

I'm with you, Char. Talking behind the back is something some people in this community are really good with. Rather approaching a personal issue towards a person, they ignore you ooRP and inRP, even metagame or powergame and talking bad behind your back in chats they are involved in.
I think DWR is a shell of its former self, if even Char is retracting his support. Our two top people are either extremely busy with another faction or IRL, to the point where I'm taking most of the initiative here. I want you all to know this: Should I take full control of DWR, I WILL NOT tolerate ANY drama-esque behavior, and I will stick with the original vision of DWR being RP-centric.
We've yet to see how these events turn out, however. DWR still has a large chance of dying off, so we'll just have to hope for the best.

Char has mentioned at least 4 times in this one thread that he is not trying to coup you, it's unlikely that it's actually his intention to do so. It's a bit like when I was accused of trying to control someone else's RP when all I did was ask questions about it. It's very easy to mistake interest and concern with someone trying to take over, as Char has said that's not his intention with that in mind and if accepted by both parties then I don't see why you can't just move on from that.

However I do have to say I can understand why DWR wouldn't want to work with you (not FW but you as a person) this feedback does come as slightly hypocritical as all three of you have posted here are attacking DWR members for spreading rumors and trying to get a general unwelcoming vibe of you and your faction yet are guilty of doing the same yourselves. Each of you have people you have slandered on both public and private discords, It's something I try to avoid but as Vendetta explained to me recently "****-talking to and behind people is the norm." especially here in discovery. This is a much bigger problem that doesn't need to be discussed here but I'm starting to come to terms with it, it might help everyone if we accept it as it is.
You guys have been quite quiet recently, bump your recruitment thread and host some events with you local enemies and allies, let me know if BD| can do anything to help you raise your levels of ingame and forum activity. We'd be happy to help.
To be honest, I'd not make it official as of now. Nobody plays, interest is gone, plans are wiped, what does it even get now? 7 members, most of which don't play often at all, and if they do, they don't play DWR, 2 of them, leader and 2ic included, are busy with other factions. Activity is so damn low it is painful to see on the tracker if you are willing to scroll that far down where it shares a place with open tags and dead unofficial factions. Sorry but right now it is better for you to pause and think if this is worth it.
I can't blame you, though. Officialdom request is running since November and no response is here. I'd lose interest as well, if the officialdom would have been granted 5 months ago when activity/plans/everything was 10/10, top notch, then it would be different. But no, we were let down. It's just sad, really.
