Is that... MRG| running around outside its ZOI with little to no Libby players on? I remember Rheinland Military pulling something like this a few years ago. It... did not end well for them.
Other than that, I've actually been having good encounters with you guys so far, keep it up. But say some words about exactly where caps should be to your members, please, unless you now have New York ZOI in the last 24 hours, in which case, disregard the above.

I'm not in charge of anything in the faction but I just wanted to chime in and clarify that we didn't do anything listed as "you can do this in your ZoI" in NY. We jumped over and yelled at the Navy over system chat while we waited for LN to muster enough ships for a fair fight back in Cali, which eventually didn't happen.
The whole thing's giving me flashbacks to the Lib-Rhein War when a bunch of Rheinland Military ships came in to NY during low activity and powergamed the everloving snot out of Liberty. It ended with an admin engaging in some ship slayings. There's a YouTube video of it somewhere.
You guys are cool, I don't want to see you slapped.
I appreciate it! The last thing we want to do is powergame or break rules, or give the impression of doing either. My memory isn't good enough to remember any specifics of the Lib-Rhein war, but our incursion is characterized (at least by me) as a scouting in force that managed to slip past the LN in Cali, not a powergame declaring the LN completely routed or whatever.
We don't want to take advantage of low player counts or anything. We were hoping that by raising enough of a stink it would drag enough LN online so that we could have a big ol' pew over Mojave or something. When it was clear that that wasn't happening, we went back to California.
I don't do feedback much, but as MRG's recent actions involved not only my PoB, but the majority of the active LN presence in general, I feel this is warranted.
I'll say straight up I am disappointed in MRG, as well as GRN's indies, a faction that supposedly prided itself on being more RP-centric than the GRN| was, less 'lolwutty' than the [RN] was, and yet still able to give half-decent RP as well as PvP.
I see now that this isn't true.
In the time since MRG declared their attack declaration to now, there have been not one, not two, but three epic overusages of capital firepower on very underwhelming forces. I understand it's a base siege, but moderation must be considered for both sides, or else the whole thing crumbles on itself. The first wave was nothing but a joke, a massive wall of Valors that attempted to call itself 'balanced', when in all reality it was, to the definition of the word, a straight up gank.
Using the reason 'LNS- ganks all the time, we should get freebies' doesn't really apply here when MRG doesn't get ganked enough times to warrant it. Frankly, MRG's activity as I've seen was in decline before the base siege, and any GRN being fought were either against CR or BAF, and not so much against Liberty.
Moderate your people, control the fights, or you'll find Liberty to be something completely different to what was displayed in the last 18 hours.
I have to say I am as well disappointed to see some people still using dates like 723 AGS. There is no such thing right now. Current year is either 825 AS or 741 AGS. Please reconcile related discrepancies as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hello Exo, thanks for your concern. I understand very well where you're coming from : I too despise the powergaming related to "Okay, there's no one to keep us from invading this capital system, let's burn everything down, shoot at all the planets and proclaim ourselves emperors of the universe !".
It is something we naturally will steer clear from : our jumping into NY (which has happened before) was strictly limited to providing Libertonians with a proper taunting in the hopes of luring them to California. It is frequent that we see NY packed with LN ships, official or indie, and none bother coming to us, so we come to them ! As a general rule however, I'm against us getting in fights in NY, that's way behind our frontline. I'll have a word with the kids to make sure it's clear just in case, but there you have it ! It's a valid concern and I thank you for bringing it to our attention. Thank you also for the encouragement, that means much.

Although I find your post a little harsh, I'll take it into account. In the defence of the MRG players that day (which I was a part of), we merely wanted to use your various ships' isolation before you managed to gather. At several points throughout the siege, you had vastly superior numbers to ours and we preferred not to get steamrolled, as you can imagine.
There was no question of "revenge ganking", I dislike that notion very much and I've endeavoured that this would not be the MRG way. I would also add that there were a few actions from the liberty forces that would warrant significant complaints as well, but I'm not here to play "who's the nastiest".
I quoted only your last sentence because, though I can live with you being disappointed in this faction because of one siege and borderline behaviour on both sides, I don't appreciate your threats very much. Liberty has, so far, failed at giving us balanced fights, either because they don't bother showing up until they have three times our numbers or... Well, they show up with three times our numbers. So given that, I'm not entirely sure what your "different Liberty" entails for us.
We're not perfect and we of course have room for improvement. I'm sorry you were disappointed, we'll work towards giving you a better experience. But understand that we're not playing with the easiest part of Sirius to interact with, not to mention our position as the hated invader, and that I would appreciate more cordial feedback next time, if possible.

Only a conseillard peasant vermin could be so bad at keeping track of time. The offender was an obvious infiltrator and has been dealt with as such. Thank you for your vigilance, citizen. R O I
Thank you all for taking some time to write us. Good or bad, I appreciate the effort as I mean to improve this faction constantly. Have a good Easter sunday ! Or rather, BON DIMANCHE DE PÂQUES.

I just had an absolutely horrendous experience interacting with the MRG. This isn't a complaint about a gank or anything of that nature. Two points:
1. One of your guys constantly, and I mean constantly, spamming me and two other snubs with trade requests/group invites every 10-30 seconds. He later explained that he had some kind of a problem with binding the keys, which is understandable, but being shot by a solaris gunboat is already irritating enough, and this just adds to the "experience".
2. One of your guys agreeing to a duel when we both had full regens and later starting to run. I have no absolutely no problem with this. What I have a problem with is what happened later. While being dry and running, they kept flying in circles around the two battleships fighting each other (!!!) for more than a minute, causing one of the battleships to kill me by accidentally colliding with me. If you are going to run, at least don't abuse the game mechanics in one of the most disgusting ways possible.
I never "agreed to a duel" with anybody. If you were the forlorn guy, I was fighting baf, then you shot me, so I shot you back, and at some point I dropped nukes on the CR cap that was shooting GRN because dropping nukes on him was the best tactical move at that point. I didnt ram anyone while doing it, and it seems you died because you rammed someone, possibly while trying to shoot me.
Am I supposed to feel bad because you shot me and collided with someone, or because I shot back at you at some point, or what?

it's really obvious when one is doing something on purpose. You started circling the battleships exactly when you had only around 30% hull left with no regens, after fighting me. You kept circling the battleships for more than a minute, sticking as close to them as possible, while knowing I was chasing and shooting you.
Anyway, it's usually the HC members that are supposed to be replying to feedback.
Edit: The main purpose of my posts here is not to accuse you of anything or to determine whether you did that purposefully or not. I simply stated what kind of "product" I got, the overall interaction. I am simply curious if this quality of interaction is to be expected from the MRG in the future, or if this is a one-off that isn't supposed to happen again.
