Oh so all the people, including your leader, I asked in regards to Auxesia being able to make our Caps were just joshing me? It was a joke? Guess I got totally pranked! My mistake! I should have installed a Joke-Detector plugin for Discord, I'll keep that in mind for the future.

These aren't that outdated as the events are recent, and the tevh isnt receiving the same optimisations at all.
I would say that technology-focused factions such as The Core would be updating their technology all the time. Alabama Shipyard is at 100% working capacity almost non-stop for a reason. Even though yes it's 'considered' retroactive, Core ships having a 90% nerf on the Aux ID would be fitting since the stuff was introduced much after the defection.

I'm not trying to deny people roleplay. At most I'm just to steer this sinking ship of a situation to something that's at least plausible and believable. It's undeniable that the basis for Auxesia being able to produce elements of our ship and equipment line is founded on what is more or less powergaming. But we're past the point of being able to chase up on that, and we are beyond retroactive measures. We have to look to the future and try to cultivate the situation in a way where things still make a modicum sense.
I don't understand why I'm being painted as the villain when I'm the only one who's really even trying to make suggestions that can reach a middle ground.
People who steal tech like this lose no sleep in comparison to factions that are victims of it. I know this as Ageira lead seeing a considerable number of crappy lore changes to adapt towards people metagaming/powergaming/devmining stuff into game so they would have something that belongs to others instead of going for a different route that would not alter gameplay whatsoever and would not impact lore for faction whose tech is being stolen.
Posting in another core vs aux pixel assets drama thread.

I'm familiar with the meanings of metagaming and powergaming, but what does devmining mean? Google was no help.

It is impossible to prevent as each staff member has separate people that are considered trustworthy information sources, as differing information is the bread and butter of Disco. There is very little net consensus, so people pick figureheads to follow positive rather than negative trends.
Being a staff member is tough. Bias happens, yo'.
In Auxesia's case it's mostly them developing their own content. They probably have a better dev connection than Core does.
Having to SRP caps means you spend at minimum a quarter-year of effort making the things and spend more money than you otherwise would, reducing abuse risk. Even that system can be weasled.
Edit: I've heard them talking about wanting to have NPC stations elsewhere in Sirius. Since Disco is comfortable with introducing new NPC factions, that could work, but then it becomes a power-creep, overdevelopment issue. One station, one sellpoint, one unique ID area, seems like enough. I'm more worried about that than a hypothetical Aux cap-spam.

they can rp and develop their own content from base up, get their own models, get their own weapons, get their own lore and tech. Its basically Nyx Powergaming how she stole Core| tech cell when she was 1ic and made aux. First Core didnt agree to this, Before the SRP for tech cell ownage passed Core| wasnt consulted, This is called Powergaming/metagaming/whateverbiagaming. The dev's Who passed the SRP techcell either Didnt know Core didnt agree to tech cell ownage, or they're blatantly letting Auxesia abusing Core Tech cell. Core Only sold a couple of ships to Auxesia. Fast Forward a few months Auxesia can now produce 100% of Core tech. Brb Going to make my own AI|NomadIshtar Fighting For Xenos and trades gatelane parts.
Edit: Ps Spazzy, you have 0 idea about what is happening. Lyth Basically Splitted Core From BHG, Made APM into a real thing along with previous leaders only for Auxesia to write a one paragraph self handshaking Approval RP about how they basically stole tech.
