It would probably lead to people with cloaks simply heading for jump holes or making more use of jump drives in case of ships that have them. Gates and Trade Lanes are working by sending information to lane and gate - the information you can get via TLAGSNET access. "Initiating trade lane sequence!"
- Cloaked ships can use jump holes and jump gates without uncloaking or getting forced to uncloak.
- Cloaked ships can't use jump drives while being cloaked, while charging the cloak and if you charge the jump drive before cloaking, it will turn off the charge the moment you load up the cloak.
- Ships attempting to cloak will stop the cloaking process the moment they enter a jump hole or jump gate, as usual.
