You're describing an entirely different game. If you want a freelancer mod that works (or more realistically, doesn't work) in that fashion, go ahead and gather a team to make it.
Needless to say nothing like this will ever happen to disco.

We did 2 on one gb and 3 on anther the other day. So, skill levels vary, and shoot, we got 6 of us killed by a battlecruiser earlier, but I'm trying to say...if a fighter makes no mistakes, a cap can't kill him. In practice, three of us trying that died about 20 times in total against our battleship. But, (and remmember, this is really just to say butt so I can touch the butt) But if you were perfect, wow, that'd be cool.
I'd never approach a boat and up with three fighters unless I knew my opponent is bad at defending themselves. I didn't know it is possible. Same with four fighters. At the very least it would be long enough for them to get to safety easily.
