Comm ID: Admiral Sophia Cleveland Recipient: Fifth Fleet Subject: Nomads in New York
Today at around 16:30 Sirian Time, New York was under attack by Nomads. They attacked the system in several waves, lasting around one hour overall. Together with several Capital Vessels of the Core, LSF and even two Maltese Navy Ships, we managed to destroy all of them. I've counted around twelve Marduk class and several smaller nomads. The Warspite suffered mediocre damage during the attack and is being repaired at Norfolk. The Manhattan Defense Grid suffered almost no damage and the people of Liberty are safe again.
Nomads that close on Manhattan is just disgusting. We have to increase our presence in New York. I want every ship of the fleet one-hundred percent manned and ready to launch.
Furthermore, I want two mixed wings of fighters and bombers patrolling the Unstable Jumphole in Alaska twenty-four hours a day. This order is to be kept classified and only revealed to members of the Liberty Navy and Liberty Security Force. Remember, every ship not wearing a Navy or LSF transponder is to be removed from Z-21 and Alaska by force, even the Liberty Police. Exceptions are made for Order ships. Escort them out of the system as soon as possible.
it's been a long time when I first stepped into our briefing room, first talked to our members, first patrolled with my comrades and friends, and finally got accepted as Ensign.
A long time I served for Liberty, for the 5th, I got into several unpleasant situations, I got into a Nomad system, those remote, uncharted ones, I fought with and against the LSF, I saw all the conflicts Liberty had attended in the past 2 years, I even was imprisioned for some days during an R&D project...
The good old times, when the 5th worked as it should.
The past weeks offered me a picture of the members which I couldn't dream of, and with the sudden dischargement of Reyes and most importantly my best friend here, Gregor Sanders, there was a hole left in this fleet, in the integrity of the people, the harmony was... destroyed.
In this inner conflict Dayton went to the reserve aswell, a very smart guy with a lot of helpful ideas.
Some days ago, I met Sanders and he told me that Reyes got command of a small Fleet which they are rebuilding and he told me that they could need my help.
With that, I hereby announce that I will resign either my post as Director of the Research and Development Division as well as Captain of the Liberty Navy 5th Fleet.
In the next hours my transfer request to the 10th Fleet will be submitted to the Liberty Navy High Command. I request the whole transfer of the "public" R&D assets, containing the "R&D-Dragon", storage ship as well as the "Edwards Research Center" to the 10th Fleet under my command. All 10th Fleet matters had been discussed by me with Reyes.
Comm ID: Admiral Sophia Cleveland Recipient: Ethan Taylor Subject: RE: Request
Noted and granted as long as you are willing to share important scientific breakthroughs and other stuff with us and the Primary Fleet of the Liberty Navy. Good luck.
Thank you, Admiral. That's for sure. Please let the new Director contact me for further briefings as well as the way the information will be changed. All projects will be executed in a joint project, as well as your last sugesstion to me.
Comm ID: Lieutenant Grey Evans Recipient: Fifth Fleet High Command Subject: The Gauntlet
I will try to keep this brief.
I arrived late to the escort, but once I got there, holy hell was it a...yeah. I am not entirely sure what to call it. The Royalist forces just kept coming for hours. The Allied forces kept them off as many of our cruisers as possible. Even at that, we did lose some. We must not let their loss be in vain. Nevertheless, I believe that we have dealt a serious blow to the Royalists.
Comm ID: Commander Brian Smith Recipient: Fifth Fleet High Command Subject: Defending New London
Good day, Command!
I will keep myself short. When I arrived at Planet New London a small fleet of Bretonian Armed Forces, as well as a fleet of Gallics, were already waiting for me. Lieutenant Grey Evans arrived shortly after me. There wasn't much time to think about what will happen next. "We sally out, and we will break through this siege." - Captain Edward Neville on the HMS-Aegis said and the fight started. It's been some time since I fought in my Thunderbird the last time, so I didn't think that I would be much of a help in there. he stops talking for a second But thanks to Lieutenant Evans I was able to focus completely on their Capital ships, he kept the enemy's bombers away from me so I didn't have to bother with them. Due to Lieutenant Evens help, I was able to take out two of their Capital class Vessels. the Saint-Sixte and the Toulouse. Sadly my guncam was damaged in this fight and I'm not able to provide any visuals of the fight, but I will attach a part of my Ship's Blackbox log below.
Sadly I don't know how the fight ended. The Thunderbird got severely damaged and I had to retreat.

An interesting patrol began at Norfolk. I'd cleared the docking bay and moved to Fort Bush, then to Manhattan and then to West Point as per standard routes. Upon arrival to West Point, I came across two vessels above the station conversing. What was apparently two men talking about pirates soon became a sort of hostage situation, as my scanners had detected a solitary Navy fighter pilot aboard the 'Oder'-class gunship 'DeltaShip'. Numerous demands were made, but to no avail, and Ionic signatures took the ship away before any proper boarding parties could be called in. Engagement would have yielded nothing.
Near this time, a 'Hellhound'-class Rogue gunship, callsign 'Birdie', approached West Point from the east, the L.N.S. Milwaukee arriving shortly thereafter. A long, grueling chase began, and while massive damage was dealt to the craft, it managed to make an emergency landing aboard the pirate outpost at Buffalo.
Personal recommendations are putting the 'Oder'-class vessel on watch, and making local shipping routes aware of the pirate gunship.

Greetings, High Command and brothers and sisters in arms.
Due my long passive duty and therefore, lacking presence on the field, I have decided it was for the best if I returned to the reserve fleet.
Thus I made a request to the LIBCOM, to transfer and deploy me to said fleet, to continue my service there.
It has been an honor serving with you and I wish you to best.

Whilst on patrol in Pennsylvania, I came across a transport carrying Nomadic remains. After stopping the transport, the pilot was actually quite cooperative. After confiscating the contraband, I sent him on his way with a warning.

[13.12.2018 07:02:06] 5th|Grey:Evans: What's the rush?
[13.12.2018 07:02:07] Sailfish: ?: Hello Officer!
[13.12.2018 07:02:19] Sailfish: ?: Helping a lad out. Said he needed some help
[13.12.2018 07:02:40] 5th|Grey:Evans: That is some mighty fine cargo you have there. Also very illegal.
[13.12.2018 07:02:54] Sailfish: ?: Don't ask me how it ended up there
[13.12.2018 07:03:08] 5th|Grey:Evans: I don't recall asking.
[13.12.2018 07:03:32] Sailfish: ?: Well how about this
[13.12.2018 07:03:38] 5th|Grey:Evans: Now, I will have to be taking it off your hands.
[13.12.2018 07:03:40] Sailfish: ?: Since you have a nack for the stuff, You take it all, and i'll go
[13.12.2018 07:03:47] Sailfish: ?: *Laughs* We had the same idea!
[13.12.2018 07:03:53] 5th|Grey:Evans: Good, good.
[13.12.2018 07:04:06] Sailfish: ?: Not like i could sell it anyhow!
[13.12.2018 07:04:29] Sailfish: ?: There it is, floating in space. Do what you want with it, I've got to go find the lad.
[13.12.2018 07:04:35] 5th|Grey:Evans: Quite right. The market for such things seems to be declining. However, I am sure that I could find a use for it.
[13.12.2018 07:04:51] Sailfish: *Laughs harder* Cannot hold it all, eh?
[13.12.2018 07:05:04] 5th|Grey:Evans: Yes...rather unfortunate.
[13.12.2018 07:05:12] Sailfish: ?: Shame. I heard those things are mighty valuble!
[13.12.2018 07:05:18] Sailfish: ?: Except, i couldn't find a sale.
[13.12.2018 07:05:25] Sailfish: ?: So, i had to lug these things around.
[13.12.2018 07:05:30] 5th|Grey:Evans: I've heard the same things, actually.
[13.12.2018 07:05:34] Sailfish: ?: Attatched itself to the cargo hold, wasn't easy!
[13.12.2018 07:05:50] Sailfish: ?: Had to burn them off with a fire extinguisher for some reason, they hate the stuff it seems.
[13.12.2018 07:05:54] 5th|Grey:Evans: I do have -some- friends in low places.
[13.12.2018 07:06:05] 5th|Grey:Evans: Interesting. I never thought to do that.
[13.12.2018 07:06:23] Sailfish: ?: Me neither, But we don't really have guns on-board the station for defence.
[13.12.2018 07:06:32] Sailfish: ?: That's where all the money went, into the ship!
[13.12.2018 07:06:47] Sailfish: ?: Impulsively thought the thing that could put out fires could put out aliens, too!
[13.12.2018 07:07:02] 5th|Grey:Evans: Well, then I do hope you make your money back. Through -legal- means, this time.
[13.12.2018 07:07:18] Sailfish: ?: Aye, I've had enough of these bloddy things. Too much trouble eating my cargo bays!
[13.12.2018 07:07:25] Sailfish: ?: Had to replace them three times this week. THREE!
[13.12.2018 07:07:32] 5th|Grey:Evans: Have you met the Xenos?
[13.12.2018 07:07:38] Sailfish: ?: Do you know how expensive that is? It's taking out our paychecks!
[13.12.2018 07:07:46] Sailfish: ?: Xenos? Hateful things. Yeah, i met them.
[13.12.2018 07:08:07] 5th|Grey:Evans: Terrible people.
[13.12.2018 07:08:12] Sailfish: ?: Aye, that's true.
[13.12.2018 07:08:26] Sailfish: ?: They don't seem to be around lately though
[13.12.2018 07:08:34] Sailfish: ?: Probbably blowing their money on hate.
[13.12.2018 07:08:40] 5th|Grey:Evans: I'm not complaining about it.
[13.12.2018 07:08:53] Sailfish: ?: Neither am i, Better for buisness then. I'm a honest man!

[13.12.2018 07:09:22] 5th|Grey:Evans: Let's stick to that normal, shall we?
[13.12.2018 07:09:25] Sailfish: ?: Never try asking them. They're stubborn things and make noises.
