Katsuki Hanako, head of the elite guard present to protect her Matriarch rotated to the Matriarch's side, as one of the other guards took her place back at the door. Giving a slight bow of the head to Valeria. Her amber eyes staring forward in a cold manner, deeming introductions dull and wishing they had already gotten to the point of the invitation. She made a small gesture to the Matriarch at her side with her hand without daring to actually make contact.
"I am Katsuki Hanako, Head of Matriarch Kiri's elite guard. She who leads the Gen'an Chrysanthemums further toward the light of Matsuda, and given shape to our defiant spirits against the oppression of Kusari's government, You are blessed she deemed this event important enough to attend it personally. We do so hope you have something of actual value to share with us, we don't take Maltese word lightly."
Her hands once again placed behind her back, her attention had turned to Jade Snow as she spoke the last half of the introduction. Amber eyes boring into the woman. Watching in silence as her lips connected and she fell silent.
After having silently observed the other representatives, the rep for the Cartel, Valeria Cortez, welcomed everyone to the meeting, ans subsequently asked for the parties to introduce themselves, in short.
After the Gen'an reps presented themselves, he straightened his suit, and turned his sight over to miss Snow.
"I am Deceiver Maximillian Largo, of the Lane Hackers' Inner circle, representing the interests of the Orange Alliance as a whole. We are thankful fot this invitation, and we hope that it will bring fruition, yes?", the sharp-looking Hacker spoke, then he went silent, while putting his right hand in the related pocket.
She stands up and strives through her hair to make sure that she looks okay, Nervously she starts to speak. Hello everyone, My name is Jade Snow, and I'm the leading engineer from the Genesis Research group. I also lead the project new Dawn that I will now present to you. I hope that my presentation will explain everything you want to know about this project. She walks towards the projector and plugs in her Tablet.

So, first of all, I want to thank you all again for showing interest in our project and the Genesis Research group itself.
So as you can see, we have quite the program to go through. I will first talk about ourselves, what we do, and how we started. Furthermore, we will talk about current and future goals and the Project "New Dawn." We will talk about the project itself and its uses and security. We will also have time for questions in the end, so if I'm allowed to be so naughty, please write them down and ask them in the end.
Let us get started.
Our founder is Martin Lawrence, I'm sure everyone in this room had contact with him already, or I wouldn't be here. So, we started as a Legacy Faction, to continue the work and enhance what was started by IRG. We strive to enhance the human technology to its limits and go beyond them. Our point is that we want to create all kinds of technology to aid humankind and make our lives easier. As an operating Zoner Faction, the number one priority is to remain as neutral as possible at all costs. We are not even in the slightest interested in getting into any unnecessary conflict that could stop or slow down our projects. So we can proudly say that war is no option for us.
So one of our goals is as I said before, to support humanity with our technology. That can be from simple Transport flights to dangerous and hazardous flights through dead space, where no humans could survive. You now might wonder what technology could aid humanity when no humans could survive such conditions. My answer is simple; Automation. This is where we see the future. You could reduce the costs of personal and you could ensure that your fellow people are safe. We want to Automate all kinds of services, whole transporter fleets, Miners, Traders. With this together, we also hope to be able to create and sustain a strong position in the financial world of Sirius so that we can strive forward with all our goals. This will be a long and hard path, but we are sure that, in the end, it will be worth it for both us and our friends and allies.
So now the part why everyone is here, Project New Dawn. I guess you have all heard of this project but don't know what this is about? The Project New dawn is the first step that we take into our goal of fully automated services. We also call it the Harvester Project, but that is the more unofficial name for it. You say harvesters well that can be done by humans too. Well, yes, but you might forget that humans are not machines. They need to sleep, eat, drink, and rest. With a fully automated system, all those let us say flaws will be a problem of the past. You can have your Miners and Transporters everything that needs to fulfill simple tasks running 24 Hours and seven days a week. You maybe want to say now that you could let your people work in shifts so you could achieve that too. I say yes and no. You could do that indeed. But you have to pay for your workers, and they have to eat and sleep, etc., or they will breakdown very soon. Our system won't. You will increase your efficiency and independence to a maximum output that is not possible to reach with normal workers. Furthermore, you don't risk any lives at all. The only persons that you need to pay are the people who monitor the ships. You won't have any people out in space unless you want to send a security wing with the ships, but this will also not be need but more that will come later. The best part is that you can do everything, and I mean everything local. You will only need one room or maybe two, depending on how many ships you want to use at the same time. So you will also decrease the risk of losing control over the whole system because, as said, you will have everything local at one spot. You might think that such a system will be costly, but I can assure you that it is cheaper than training people to perform the same tasks as our system and don't forget those trained people reach the efficiency cant.
As I said before, you can use this system in almost all kinds of tasks. This will reach from harvesting materials like gases or ores, even scrap metal. You can also use them for simple transporter flights no matter how long they are our system will fulfill that task. Furthermore, you could also send ships equipped with our system into warzones to ensure that your people at the frontline get their needed supplies without having to risk a single life for such a dangerous flight. What is also a benefit that you will be able to reduce the weight of the ship because you can dismantle all life support systems, and you won't need a cockpit at all. so you can either increase your cargo capacity, or you can save some Fuel, but that is up to everyone's preferences. So you can see that this system has a nearly limitless use.
For the connection, we choose to go over the neural net, it offers the fastest response times, and after all, with the right encryption, it is most likely unhackable. We currently have our most talented programmers working on the program so we can ensure what we say. We also work on a program that avoids all incoming danger. You might wonder how that works, so let me explain it. It's simple, so let's say your transporter equipped with our systems flies through system XY, and suddenly, a ship appears on the scanner. Our Highspeed program will decide if the incoming ship is a threat or not; if the ship is no threat, our ship will continue on its route without any delay. However, if the system decides that the incoming ship is a threat, the system will steer the ship in the opposite direction and directly to the next neutral base or planet. Furthermore, we restrict access to all control and upgrading facilities heavily so we can always watch what person took what step and pressed which button. You could say we are so secure that we know when a person inside those facilities farts. We don't leave any room so that anything could be manipulated.
If any questions are open feel free to ask them now and I will gladly explain everything that you need to know.
Listening to the GRG representative's explanation of their project, the Lane Hacker, sitting down, was partially impressed with the whole background, especially about their 'security measures': using an encrypted NN transmission to check on a transport's flight - quite the ingenious thought.
As soon as Miss Snow was ready for the questions, the very first one came from the Hacker representative, Mr. Largo, which put his question down in a rather direct way.
"I do have a question on behalf of the Orange Alliance, miss Snow: we would like to ask everything about the standing of all the factions you currently have dealings with, as well as any special operation you're working on as of today - and particularly your state of affairs with the Order. It is no secret that they informed us about the IRG's illegal nomad research. It is asked in order for the Alliance to ponder about your organization, since you said GRG is the spritual successor to IRG - and we have had bad experiences with the IRG. I hope you understand my question.", the sharp-looking Hacker asked and, while awaiting the answer, he straightened himself on his chair.
"Intelligence can turn out to be a deadly double-edged blade: it can raise or sink entire Houses - and this is why I am dedicated to its gathering."
A bit perplex from that question and how sharp it came out of his mouth, she started to explain what Mr. Largo wanted to hear. Well, Mr. Largo, you caught me a bit off guard with that question, to be honest, but I will answer as good as I can to satisfy you. So I hope you understand that I don't know all the relations we have with all factions, but as I stated in the presentation, we try to do our best to remain neutral in all cases as long as it won't influence our work. About our relations with the order, I would also like to know which cell you are talking about? With the Legacy of Orillion, we try to remain neutral, maybe even a bit friendly, yet the Overwatch doesn't seem to be so welcoming, but I can't say why because diplomacy is not my job. So the next one is a bit a well, I feel a bit offended, but I do understand your concerns. I'm terribly sorry that you had a hard time with IRG, but if I can say one thing, then it is that we as GRG do not tolerate any. I mean any tests, experiments, or analyzations related to nomad technology, behavior, or functioning. If IRG has done something so dumb and betraying the human race on such a level just for the sake of science, then I don't know what to say. I will guarantee by my life that the GRG as long as I'm the lead engineer will not do something like IRG did. I assure you that all and I mean all of our technology is One Hundred percent developed from human technology and human studies, I myself looked at all the facilities that we currently own and work with. I did not find a single hint of any nomad technology. Still a bit nervous, and with a sore throat, she turns a bit to take a sip of her water. Still trying to maintain a professional look.
"I will not deny that the Genesis Research Group contains the former members of Ingenuus but they are not the IRG itself." - Valeria stood up and by one short line tried to cut possible conflict between the representative of Orange Alliance and the zoners. - "No need to blame them in what IRG did when they existed."
"Signora Snow, the Cartel would like to know can the New Dawn technology be used at any another military purpose except it abovementioned ones or it has some kind of restrictions, etc?" - Cortez asked and looked at the young woman awaits her answer.
Before speaking once more, the Hacker sipped some water and cleared his throat.
"That is an acceptable answer, miss Snow. Considering that the IRG has self-admitted that their infamous Power Cell is the product of alien research, will you continue to develop and produce this cell, or you are not going to have any involvement with it?
And finally, miss Snow, I want to ask, what are your relations with the LSF? Have you had any dealings?", the sharp-looking Hacker asked once more, while keeping his gaze over the GRG representative.
"Intelligence can turn out to be a deadly double-edged blade: it can raise or sink entire Houses - and this is why I am dedicated to its gathering."
After a big sigh, yet happy for the supportive words of Miss Cortez. Jade thinks about her question since this project isn't meant to be militarized. Well, Miss Cortez. Everything could be weaponized. I could turn your everyday kitchen blender into more than a deadly weapon. *she giggles* I'm sorry, what I want to say with that. Yes, but you would have to face many major problems. First of all, you could create those ships, but they need to be remote-controlled because letting them be controlled by an AI could lead to the problem that the AI gets self-aware, which could turn out ugly for your troops and ships. You would probably lose more lives through that than through a ship that gets destroyed. The next problem is that you will need such a huge amount of resources to build that system into a whole fleet, and you would still need a lot of people to remote control it. You would also face a small amount of "lag" even through the neural net. So I would rather say it's impossible and simply not worth it. If I had to guess I would say you could face costs of at least 50'000'000'000 Credits and that's just a hard guess, I would say even more than that. Starting to getting a bit annoyed by the repetitive questions of the representant of the orange alliance, she starts to answer his questions but in a more sharp and direct tone. Mr. Largo... As I have said before. Diplomatics arent my business. We have people inside of GRG to deal with this matter, and that's not me. If there should have been any dealings at all, then this was done without my knowledge, and I don't need to know that either as I said, it's not my concern as long as I can do my job. So, now I don't know what they have done in their research of the power cell. But I said before, and I did even bet my life on it! We do not use any, and I say it one last time! ANY nomad technology to produce our products. I understand that you wonder about this kind of matter, and I did explain it to you. I hope we understand now. We do not take any responsibility for what IRG has done, we do not use any extraterrestrial technology to produce any product of us, we do stand one hundred percent behind the human race, and we are even for the destruction of the nomad threat. Jade sits down and sighs exhausted from those questions. She takes a sip of her water and looks around to see if more open questions are in the room.
The Matriarch put down her glass of water and and asked the question that was on her mind for a long time.
"Your technology. Even with your security measurements, signals can still be intercepted, even when encoded. It could give away our ship locations. Secondly, how do we know, your system has no back doors. You talk about the dangers of rogue AI, but I see no guarantees that that GRG can't spy on us using their programs."
"Thank you for your response. So, you are not denying that you may be involved in the production and/or sale of the Ingeenus Power Cell. Most interesting development.", the sharp-looking Hacker asked once more, while keeping his gaze over the GRG representative.
Yet, the Hacker squared her top-to-bottom before speaking again, this time in a more decise yet slightly annoyed mood. He required a more direct approach.
"Listen, miss Snow: I participated in this meeting to ask questions and get answers. If you are annoyed with myself asking you questions, perhaps it would be better if I took my leave. What do you think?"
"Intelligence can turn out to be a deadly double-edged blade: it can raise or sink entire Houses - and this is why I am dedicated to its gathering."
