Real hard-turn of a career change to make the leap from batting for the intercorp's to jousting with 'em. I respect that. Anybody can fall ass-backwards into the good fight. It takes a grown man to change his mind.

Short Biography: Nothing much to say, I was born on the 'Pitt. Mom died when I was 11 or 12, dad wasn't in the picture, ever. Learned how to steal, and a couple years later that folks'll pay for a good show.
When I was 16, I've "inherited" a smuggler's ship. By inherited, I mean he had a heart attack when he was on top of me. Anyway, I've took the opportunity, helped myself out with his ship, and flew to Hamburg, getting a job as a bike mech, since I used to fix these on Pitt too. I did the ocassional odd jobs with my ship to get money, many of them coming from various cells. Now, the police is lurking around, I think it's time to move on.
Why do you want join us: I've got contracted quite a few times by now, and the pay was good. Oh, and the police already paying more visits than they usually do, so I assume they know.
Why were the Unions outlawed?: After the 80 years war, Rheinland was too broke to pay their workers, so they decided to give them the boot. This went swimmingly for everyone involved, and after some rebelling, the union was named as a criminal organization
Why were the LWB outlawed?: Synthfoods (and most companies) have more power in this House, than it's legitimate government.

Name: Klaus Katzmann Date of Birth (Age): 807 AS / 20 Place of Birth: New Berlin Gender: Male Previous occupation(s): Loader, shipping manifest handler. Are you already a member of the Syndicliga, LWB, or Unioners?: No
Short Biography: Born and raised on New Berlin to a fairly unremarkable family. Working class parents who both had to graft to stay afloat. Inexperienced in the ways of the world and pretty much the definition of 'green behind the ears'. Having seen the conditions his family had to endure under the boot of various corporate entities he left home to try and make a life for himself elsewhere, ending up on Freeport 2.
Why do you want join us: Having seen the way his parents were treated and knowing that it hadn't always been like that, Freeport 2 provided Klaus with the knowledge that there were people who were trying to change the status quo.
Why were the Unions outlawed?: They were outlawed after the 80 years war, when the economy of Rheinland collapsed and they were no longer able to compete with foreign corporations due to the favourable conditions the unions brought to workers.
Why were the LWB outlawed?: The sector-wide domination of Synth foods putting normal farmers out of business, leading to the aforementioned group being formed and conducting activities to try and remove Synth foods from Rheinland.
Describe, in your own words, our attitude to life: Goods can be replaced, People cannot.
You’re the captain of an artefacts transport. Your escort and your convoy mate is engaged. Do you wait for your escort, assist them in battle, or proceed according to route? : I would assist my escort in the fight. As said in the previous question, goods can be replaced but people cannot.

It's tough to be your own man when you're trying to avenge your folks. Nobody's on a quest. You try it? You'll burn at the first dragon.
But hell, you're trying, kid. There's no shame in idealism. It doesn't make you wet behind the ears for having a place that you'll stand your ground on. No-one will judge you for having a fire in your chest.
Goods can be replaced - people? Well, they'll replace people too. But their minds are gone, and they don't linger like you'd expect. There's just a gap there. Like an old, essential part that's no longer in production. All you can do is make your own filler.

Short Biography: Born to immigrants on Hamburg, Libertonian ones. I know, strange. Otherwise? it's Hamburg. Manufacturing and dock work's everywhere, parents were in it, then I went in it. Turns out, you get screwed. Hard. Hours, poor insurance, ended up arguing with my immediate supervisor every other week due to someone else dealing with injury. Then, one morning? Snap, gone, went to go work on something that doesn't involve tight bureaucracy and screwing the working populace. So, here I am.
Why do you want join us: Because, obviously, jobs in Rheinland still do not always cover for you. Only way to get that fixed, it seems, is to be violent.
Why were the Unions outlawed?: 80 Years War. Rheinland took a major economic downturn, unions got screwed, they got angry, and here we are.
Why were the LWB outlawed?: Synth Foods happened. Paste was cheap, pushed farmers out of the market, encouraged the Synth people to go and screw up the environments they grew in for the sake of a bottom line. They lobbied to keep the LWB under tight wraps, and so the government did exactly that.
Describe, in your own words, our attitude to life: Without the right security, or threat? Bad people can run around whenever, whatever, and however. That needs to be fixed, and I like to think it's the job of the average worker to do so.

Recruitment form Name:
Wilhelm von Rosenberg Date of Birth (Age):
807 A.S. - 20 Years old. Place of Birth:
Wedel Mining Facility Gender:
Male Previous occupation(s):
Dockworker Are you already a member of the Syndicliga, LWB, or Unioners?:
Wilhelm was born into it. The player volunteered for the defense of the Styria Cooperative.
Short Biography:
Wilhelm is the third-born of a humble family of dockworkers on Wendel Mining Facility. His father, a former pilot, was renowned for his skill in combat and was told to take over as logistics supervisor for Dock 2 as he grew older - a position that both he and the rest of his family are proud of to this day.
As the years grew on, his father refused to let any of his children fly - telling them of the glory and honor in an honest day's work; how the fruits of their labors will make a better Rheinland by carrying on the legacy of past workers.
Wilhelm understood what his father said, but was too attached to the idealized glories of battle. Between shifts at the dock, he would hear pilots in the bar regale tales of battle, glory, of crimes committed against their people and of the glorious retribution that they inflicted. Young Wilhelm was awestruck by such tales - constantly bugging his father to tell him of his time as a pilot. This would more often than not result in a scolding and extra shifts in the docks - to 'remind him of his roots'.
Two decades of hard, honest work and his Father's teaching were undone when the Red Hessians declared their hostilities against the Styrian Cooperative. A furious Wilhelm was one of the first on Wendel to volunteer to fight, despite having no combat training.
The young man didn't even give his father a chance to argue before he left on the first transport to Leipheim, amongst his brothers and sisters conscripted from various sections of Wendel Mining Facility.
Why do you want join us:
To protect my brothers and sister workers, and to bring glory to the workers of the past. Why were the Unions outlawed?:
Because the Unions were broken up after the 80-Year War, as a result of Rheinland's horrid economic situation - basically throwing all the dock workers to the wind and causing an employment crisis.
Then the riots started. Why were the LWB outlawed?:
Farmers all across Rheinland were vying for work as foreign companies such as Synth Foods Inc. started to flood the market with cheap alternatives to Rheinland-grown food, so the farmers lobbied and fought for their jobs. Describe, in your own words, our attitude to life:
We fight for a future where all the workers of Rheinland can provide for their families. That the fruits of production will make our nation rise once more. You’re the captain of an artefacts transport. Your escort and your convoy mate is engaged. Do you wait for your escort, assist them in battle, or proceed according to route? :
It is the escort's mission to intercept and engage any opposition - it is the Convoy's job to get to safety, or to continue on-route.
You’re the captain of a strike cruiser. There’s a fight occurring between the Hessians and the Rheinland military, which the Hessians are winning. You can wait for the Hessians to win, help the Hessians or help the Rheinland lawful. Which do you do?
After recent events? Help the Rheinland lawfuls fight the traitorous scum. We will have blood for blood.

Alright, let's see who you are. I'm a flight instructor not a coffee filter for neophytes...
'Tonian immigrant mom and pop - always with the mom and pop stories with these teenagers. Still, it's worth knowing. Immigrants get it tough. Tend to be wiser around the edges, less of that wet behind the ears prejudice to sand off. Working-class surname - good. Probably knows what he's getting in for. If he gets assigned to Gruen that'll be two Unioners named Eric with different sets of spellings. He's got a techfinger background - astrospace engineer. Uncertain if he's Union-grade, worse, or if he's got a few unsuspecting tricks. Unioners like Basia - frickin' Basia, love to flaunt their own expertise with a few spliced wires and the guts of a refrigerator when it comes to crunch. Having mechanical engineering experience by itself will cut down the amount of time we'll have to spend sending him to the reeducation academy. Doesn't seem like he's got an obvious way with words, but that doesn't mean he's running on a few alleles short chromosome, a few brain cells short of a battery, either. It'd be the second Eric passing into the outfit lately, too. The alliteration made him snappy. The kid looked like good material - he'd been smart enough to find a neuralnet directory for the Unioner intranet that hadn't turned out to be a Federal Police sting, after all. That made him seminally favourable.
Heck, the kid was laconic, knew how it stood, and seemed more honest - and probably brighter - than most. The Siren had a flight service apprenticeship coming up.
"Hey - Basia - there's this precocious newkid with a storybook name, ja...?"

Name: Valentin Falk Date of Birth (Age): 24 (803 AS) Place of Birth: The Ring, New Berlin Gender: Male Previous occupation(s): Maintenance engineer, freelance trader, smuggler Are you already a member of the Syndicliga, LWB, or Unioners?: No, I'm not.
Short Biography: Spaceborne on one of many Ring habitats in the family of the two hard Rheinland workers, employees of Daumann. The childhood was spent mostly on stations where his parents were assigned.
The fact of being raised in artificial gravity left its mark on Valetine: even with decent education he couldn't join the Millitary because of his tallness and being brittle boned, while most corporations required to endure high G-forces during planetfalls or in case of emergencies. On the bright side, as a spacer he was pretty familiar with basic life support and how to maintain it,not to mention the constant avareness of any noises in the bays around - even a small breach in hull can drain oxygen supply in seconds, leaving you with two options: either fix it, or the really unpleasant one.
So in 19 his first job was as station engineer ,until he learnt the thing or two about the ships and then provided repairs at docks for pilots stopping by, and when his savings was enough to afford a small freighter,he became one. Not anymore being bounded to one place,he enjoyed runs from dock to dock with different goods, oppening the Rheinland and nearby Houses to himself and even learned how to get from point A to point B little ahead of schedule with some extra fuel left.
Unceasing search for more profitable routes led him from delivering small sealed packages to strange individuals with meaningless passwords and no questions asked to hauling full loads of contraband on a newly purchased transport with a risky route ahead, just so he could generate some revenue and switch to another ship for another load. Not anymore in good stands with the lawfuls for obvious reasons, now Valentine is trying to sign up as Unioner, having already done some work for them with wise payment recieved.
Why do you want join us: Because I believe you treat people for their skills, not by "applying the standarts". At least that's what neuro-net says about your ideology.
Why were the Unions outlawed?: That was the only option for the state to cease excess ship production and compete with other Houses on market, lowering working conditions for employees due to prohibition of Unions themselves.
Why were the LWB outlawed?: Dominant competing company overwhelms poor farmers with predictable consequences.
Describe, in your own words, our attitude to life: You'll live and learn forever.
You’re the captain of an artefacts transport. Your escort and your convoy mate is engaged. Do you wait for your escort, assist them in battle, or proceed according to route? : Just can't leave a companion or a valuable cargo behind,so I'll move with my escort to engage.

People like you do the job and not afraid to get their hands dirty. And the Union does need people like you. While I am a bit disappointed, that you want to join us only because of your personal interests, I also realise, that you might need some time to properly understand what we stand for. Though even if you don't, that's not going to be a big problem. The Union consists of many individuals with different goals and mind sets, that's what makes us different at the end.
