Once upon a time I had recommended the development of a few open market (not explicitly labeled "civilian", but "open market", as in not restricted to any specific faction so long as their ID allows its use but not really anything special) warships, including an open market cruiser, battlecruiser, and battleship. IMO this would be a pretty damn good entry for one of the last two.

Is this...A problem?
yep i like the bustard better that one looks like a surfboard .. I do like the ass end though.. the engines look cool.. its just too flat for my tastes..
Edit: Keep old-model Bustards as collectors items though, like Redemption, before rolling out the new ones, please.

i do feel like this model better fits the quasi-pseudo warship-esque feel the bustard should have as a tool for those without access to dedicated naval carriers.
however, i hope the current model wont be gone for good. I think it could be re-used for another civilian ship (maybe a pseudo-cruiser). That way you have an open-market line of pseudo-warships as @Kazinsal mused on.
Both curent Bustard and this one looking great, and it wuld be best if curent owners keep their Bustard and this is offered for sale on some shipyard for anyone who prefere this.
