I can understand that one in charge for mining was drunk when think of this water ore (really, WATER ORE,wtf of all wtf in universe?) , but how culd all others admins and developers were drunk in same time to aprove this ?
"Yee, lets take our mining equipment, drills and showels and lets go dig some water..."
If i can post some feedback on new field after mining for hour or two in it.
- Density needs to be higher, compared to other fields not enough rocks to shoot at
-The ores dont have the "glow" like mineable ores usually do, its hard to spot them especially in that blueish system color.
- Mining bonuses for DSE - rhino, compared to what was being mining copper like its lower and slower.
Generally i have no problem with the ore, just some tuning is in order to get it to work properly and its fine
The 'pristine ice' actually could have some kind of explanation. Maybe it's freezed tritiated water? You know, for some mumbo-jumbo-ooga-booga science things.

Off the top of my head
Lanthanum, Rhodium, Osmium, Erbium, Rhenium, Gallium, Germanium, and many other metals.
All being very important metals for things such as semiconductors, optics, alloys, catalysts, and various other applications and are significantly rarer than water.
In Cortez.
Tbh, they magically created a comet in Shikoku for platinum

Only that it never was there before last patch
I am not a scientist but I am pretty sure that comets move through space. A comet appearing in Shikoku could be exactly that. A random comet that passes through the system.
