Seeing you here filling out that application makes me want to smile. We've flown together so much and for so long now that I always thought of you as one of us anyway, even if it was never official. So if anything, all this feels like to me is a rubber stamp.

4.) Describe in your own words your previous experiences, your view of the Xeno Alliance, and your motivation to join:
Answer: I was dropped off at Pittsburg, or at least that's the first place I remember being. I don't remember having any parents, nothing. I was adopted and eventually moved to Manhattan. I had no clue how old I was, and what was going on.
I had no real career choices since I came from nothing and didn't have much parental guidance when high school was over. I was picked up for the Navy's flight school, graduated, figured it would give me a sense of direction. For a while it seemed to do so, especially when the Gallic invasion hit, we all had the motivation to fly and to help out one way or another. When it was over though, well, there wasn't much left.
I was really good at flying, or at least that's what my pals told me. I don't know, every instance just seemed like luck to me. Or most did anyway.
Fast forward a year or so following the end of the war and here we are now, my unit was dissolved after the end of the war. We fought in the independent worlds, killed a lot of people, good and bad for the greater good yada yada. Trouble came around when some insurgents started snooping around in the same area we had operated in. Our higher-ups wanted to cut loose ends, and apparently so did the LSF. We were suspected of collaboration, the insurgents were talking to some guys in our unit. The LSF happened to be investigating me at the same time for some reason and that's when they found out about one of the guys in my unit committing treason. The LSF wrote it off as a group effort though, not just a few bad apples.
My friends turned on me and I lost nearly everything, hell, I was seeing this girl at the time too! This hottie from Curacao, imagine the money she had! I had to kill so many people to escape Cortez with my life. LSF, insurgents, Navy - you name it.
I have nowhere to go, I'm at the end of my rope with no options. If I go back, I'll be killed. I've had beef with a lot of bad people in Liberty, but I've never really had a run-in with you guys. I know what you are, and while I wasn't open to the idea at first - now I have no choice.
I can fly, I have combat discipline, and I've killed - those are the people you're looking for right?

Kincaid.
People who can both fly and have some semblance of combat discipline are useful, no disagreements there. But what we're specifically looking for are people who believe in the idea behind the fight and not just the fight. I'm sure your peers will speak to you about that more than enough and it's a decision you'll have to make for yourself anyway. For the time being, I'm happy to bring you onboard as a volunteer.
3.) Place of birth
Answer: The medbay of a transport, prolly around the area of Kusari if my parents are to be believed.
4.) Describe in your own words your previous experiences, your view of the Xeno Alliance, and your motivation to join:
Answer: I'm gonna be real with y'all.
I ain't much of a Libertonian, ain't much of a nationalist, never been much for throwing myself behind causes. Far as I was concerned, as long as I stuck to my own, stayed outta the way of the people in charge, maybe I could carve out my own little piece of something in the universe. But y'know what the problem with that is, right?
I don't think I need to tell you, but I'm gonna spell it out anyway. Others don't give a flying f*ck about what you want. Nobody cares about you tryina stay outta their way, 'cuz they'll go outta their way to make your life a living hell if y'so much as give 'em the slightest reason. And sometimes, they do it without even realizing it. Stepping on your life and livelihood for the sake of their greater good that they can't even remember what it looks like anymore.
It ain't the first time I've been frustrated. Hell, I've thought about where I could go before. Thought about applying for citizenship with the Commonwealth, with the Natio Octavarium, even thought about just living right out on the edge.
But none of that's really free, huh?
Y'all talk about a Free Republic, y'talk about the corruption of Liberty, the corporations that feed her, and all the others on the outside that enable it. Y'wanna carve out a space where people'll leave you the f*ck alone, and leave you outta their games and politics, where the people actually care about each other? Something about all that makes me think y'might be the ones in Sirius that have their heads on straight, even though everyone else might think you're f*ckin' crazy.
So if y'all want a hot-blooded anarchist on your side, all y'gotta do is ask.

The highest honor we bestow is the Free Republic star.
But with how impressive all of that sounded, I might consider a revision. We're happy to have you, and I know I really could use more politically inclined volunteers to serve as advisors. So I've only really got one thing left to say.
3.) Place of birth
Answer:
After what my uncle said, in an abandoned clubhouse on planet Manhatten.
I grew up wherever my uncle was, after my parents died.
4.) Describe in your own words your previous experiences, your view of the Xeno Alliance, and your motivation to join:
Answer:
Revenge!
The Liberty Police forces killed my parents when they were transporting water to Tau-23.
They thought they smuggeled artifacts, shortly after the nomads were gone from the Sirius Sector for the first time.
Turned out they had a scanner malfunction...
My parents died for the failing competence of delivering and waiting scanners for the Liberty Police.
Since my Uncle raised me, as a very good Rogue fighter, I aswell heared of the XA.
I believe the XA has great goals, especially for people who are treated bad by Liberty.
I want to join the XA to be a part of the right system, fighting against a wrong system believing it's the right one!
