Mr. Abrams,
Very well, I will give you a last chance to prove that your loyalties lie with humanity, not the Nomads and their thralls. Meet me aboard Freeport 6. Come alone, unarmed, and with very good explanations as to why you should not be apprehended, interrogated, and eliminated.
Our Hudson operative has not seen you in some time and I have to admit that Section 8 is becoming a little worried. Additionally, I have some questions that I believe you may have some answers to.
If you are still alive, I would like to request that you meet with one of our operatives.
Yeah, well. I haven't visited Hudson in a while, mostly because I spent my time somewhere else. At least briefly. Lots of things happened since I last saw your Operatives, too. Most of them I'd rather forget about. Look, I'm fine. I really am, except for a few instances where I nearly lost someone in some stupid standoff.
I suppose...I suppose we can meet. Just no guns, alright?
Uh. Sorry about that mess in Kepler. You lot really hate getting along for once, do you? Either way, uh. You said something about a medical checkup. See for any sort infection. I, uh. Thought about a solution to get the risk of that out of the way.
So how about monthly medical checkups? Hell, even weekly if you have to. Or just, uh. Give me some sort of equipment that I can use from home for that. I can send you the results on a weekly basis and you know...all that. At least until The Order as a whole decides to put a red target above my head.
I've also, uh. Thought of something. I've recently had some issues with more hull-heavy Nomad forms. Could you perhaps help me out into getting two Nomad Adapted Blasters? I need strong, precise firepower to disable one Sentinel. Should they come up next time.
I can give you some insight in their evolutionary pathways afterwards. It's uh. The least I can do for now.
It is a welcome change to see you acting rationally for a change.
Any mobile scanning equipment we have on hand is required for our own operations. You will have to come to us for the procedure, preferably weekly. I want to clarify that, should you indeed be found to be infected, you will be terminated on the spot. We will have no other option.
You understand that Overwatch is already highly suspicious of you, correct? In no small part due to the adapted technology you are already employing. Increasing your pool of alien equipment will only draw further ire. Additionally, should Overwatch learn that Section 8 itself supplied you with such technology, we, too, may receive unwanted attention. That being said, I believe we can provide the weapons you apparently need. However, the information you provide in return had better be of considerable value to us.
As for our rapport with the Auxesians; there is no 'getting along' with traitors to humanity who work with the Nomads. Section 8 has, however, considered improving relations with the Technocrats - and their 'Revenant' in particular -, at least in regards to this particular situation. But, as I am sure you will agree, our encounters so far prove that our advances will likely be rebuffed with the usual juvenile vitriol.
Let me know when you are ready for your first checkup and I will inform you of when and where to pick up your supplies.
Uh...well, that's why I'm asking to be scanned, you know...? I don't want to live as anyone's puppet. Not The Order's, not Auxo's and definitely not to some alien parasite. It just sucks, you know. But uh...- yeah. Overall I get it. I uh, get it.
A-And the guns...yeah, uh. It'll remain between us, okay? If anyone asks, I got into Alberta again and stumbled upon another set. I recommend not trying to rig with anything, you know. Unless you uh. Really want either The Order or Auxo to find out about this.
I'll also-- ahem. I'll see what I stumble upon that's worthwhile regarding the Sentinels' biology. Maybe there's a weakness or two, you know. Just have to uh...look hard enough. Either way uhm. I'm available both today and tomorrow around the same hour. Sorry for the short notice, I ah...uh. Had some spontaneous combustion in the lower lab section. I uh...had a hard time cleaning the mess up.
Rendezvous with the Unto Nightfall at 1800 SMT at Ames Research Station. You will come aboard and submit yourself to a full body scan. If the examination's results are negative, you will be given instructions concerning the retrieval of your supplies.
So...look. If it won't be me sending you this, it'll be the Xeno Alliance. This odd person flying a gunboat all by herself. The "RV-Pennybrooke". She was already sketchy at first. But then it summoned an entire Nomad Warform only a few meters before us. We spread out quickly and kept distance. Then they went on to jump away - the Gunboat and the Warform. I almost went in-range to jump with the two just to take a jab at the gunboat. Well...almost. Took out the smaller Nomad, though...with the rest. This, uh. Olivia Sable. I don't know how she is, but disappeared soon after. Me, Cobra and Locke went out to find her but-- apparently she needed some time off or something. I don't know if she's alright or not. I tried to push Cobra into finding her, but I nearly made him shoot me instead. Might've pinched a nerve there.
Just...uh. I'll leave this image here as proof. Do as you will.
Katherine Pennybrooke of the RV-Pennybrooke has been a known Nomad sympathizer and presumed infectee for some time now. We encountered her very recently in Kepler, but the circumstances at the time kept us from acting on our knowledge.
It is worrying that she would so blatantly summon a form of that size so close to house space. Her involvement may complicate matters around the Kepler situation. Report any further encounters with the RV-Pennybrooke and her alien associates.
I've got something for you. As promised...part of the study on the Sentinels. Kind of. The remains I've been given by a close friend weren't in pristine condition, but at least I got to take a look at the outer shell and-- well, you'll see.
