Sadly, most people with whom I used to play have left disco for various reasons. Sometimes, I instal disco and fly around a bit; then I get some ideas and think that I should probably start something and have some fun. Unfortunately, by the time I read the forums and catch up with most of the things, I remember all the reasons for which I stopped playing .
Same thing day in, day out. Not much going on with story progression that disco users want to see, so interest is crumbling.
Example, destroying Insurgency when IN| and SIN| was active?
Need a resurgence of illegal commodity's to trade, police factions finding it boring and nothing to do, no trade = no pirates = no police = no pirates bringing bigger guns = no navy.
The circle has gone, bring back the trade circle and you'll get activity.
Nothing has changed in the trade industry for a while, maybe illegal cargo, with extra bounties paid for extra cargo from A to B as an event or something?

Just brain farts.
Just my opinion.
Nothing more.
Bellck.
Wait - I thought Vespucci + Kansas are getting merged - where are people getting these ridiculous deletion rumors?

SIN was a joke, don't pretend it was anything different.

Well, that is part of the problem in of itself. Players try to influence change or raise ideas. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Changes can be made to any faction/system at any given time with little to no input or transparency with official factions.
This, along with what Xenon says, just not enough hours in the day. New games come out, lives change. I'll take a break, live and talk among real people, then come back to this place and see how people talk, treat each other, and behave. I'm then reminded why I'm no longer interested in playing Discovery in a serious capacity.
As the great Hank Rover once said: "My giveadam dun broked, heardy!"
I hope that either all of us or none of us are judged by the actions of our weakest moments. But rather, by the strength we show when, and if, we're ever given a second chance.
