Acshually:
-Barge itself (lol)
-Gallic Super Train (an SRP but technically it does)
-Whale
-Kusari Tanker
-Luxury Liner
-Pilgrim Liner
-Gallic Train (4250 cargo one)
-Gallic Blackmarket Transport
-Gallic Liner
-Renzu Liner
Ok, then why not all other transports as well?
My point was that why would any pilots who, thru prior experience, know that are needed
go forth without them?

Why? To make piracy easier and trading more difficult, as always. Bias exposed.
its almost like transports were designed to haul large amounts of cargo at the trade off of their guns and armor
you know what else exists?
4300 battle transports who can equip flaks to ward off torpedoes and instantly deshield bombers and have plenty of turrets to bazoomber lone bombers
suck it up buttercup, sacrifice some cargo for protection, get yourself an escort or a scout, or deal with paying a part of your profit for an interaction that will take you 2 minutes. the name of the game is interaction and if transports were meant to never interact with anyone or be immune to piracy we would've never removed their ability to be JD4'd away
also you dont need "prior experience" to know what transports have CMs, just read the fuckin equipment on the vendor lmao. do you have the same complaints about some fighters having turrets while others dont just because youre incapable of intaking information on your screen?
oh gosh, how can i tell a ship has a CM before I buy it?
oh right

+1
Also the Enterprise Luxury Liner is the only 4.3Ker with a CM slot iirc. There's also l'Ane with 4,000 that has a CM and can be used by Freelancers, much better choice than the Pirate Train.

Have you ever thought about role playing instead of "gib money" 1/2?
It ain't about what you are capable of, it's about what you're willing to do.
Barges are stupid. I remember playing this game to encounter people. You know what helps encountering people? If they are not spread out through stupid systems or spending more time on stupid ships than regular ones. I miss the casual times when the game was about playing the game rather than managing pixel empire that only pixel emperors care about. We have too many Barges and too many POBs.
Ah, barges. 15,000,000,000 credits. Dozens of hours of farming. How to tell everyone around you, yes, you! You made it! Congratulations! You wasted so much time for this single thing!
Barges were a cool oddity back in the day. Now it is just a pain. It is a good vessel for mining, don't get me wrong. But there's just too many of them. I find them to be an annoyance now. Because they are.
