I recall you have tried that before falsely accusing us of having weapons we never had, comparing level 9 guns with level 10 guns, and parameters they never had (like splash damage and homing), basically without any proof but just throwing it in, amongst other things too. And that "Lazy to learn". Curious, what are we using then? Current Supernovas, so where does that argument flies into other than insulting players? Meanwhile by saying that Order equivalent should be superior to others, which is derived from alien technology, as far as we know there are only two of them: Daam K'Vosh and Nomads, with second party being tightly related to first (also FP7 intro sequence).
You want it to be fair and equal in every term? Well, I suppose that's what competitive multiplayer games are tailoring to. But neither me nor members of my faction are here into because of competition.
edit: Connor, corsairs got shield busters, best in game, so what then? How about we remove them and make everyone debies instead? I have no problem with them, kinda tolerant person myself. But that's about your lean towards balance, you know. Sandbox got to be perfectly square for everybody then. Like having same guns for everyone, not even different in visual effect. Makes me wonder, are we playing Quake/UT/CS here then? Not me. People were asking for faction-specific weapons for long time, as a matter of fact they were there for long time already, but not for every faction, just a few, so either we move forward by adding new ones or we move backward by removing existing faction-specific weapons, and that includes colaras, tizzie, infernos, etc., and have everyone same gun. What next then?
Finally, someone backs up the points I tried to make 40 odd posts ago.
I know its uber with that speed, but I got shot down for it anyway.

Also, picking up the point about the opinion of the leader of the only nomad faction on discovery; That holds no water, unless he designed the vanilla nomad guns. But if you still think its valid, then I guess that when I say neutron cannons should have high speed, high damage and high rate of fire, that would be valid to. Guess not.
And no, its not a pet hate for the keepers. Its a pet hate for imbalanced statistics. Having lived through 4.83 doing most of the killing in a Taiidan bomber, I know how unbalanced an instakilling 350m/s weapon is.
Tell me why being exclusive means you have better stuff than everyone else?
I actually think the nomads should have a slightly better supernova than the rest. Not only is it logical in roleplay , since the technology heritages from them, but they are outnumbered and almost enemy to everyone, and that to me plays an important factor too.
If we go with the second option then this proposal is completely fine. But I've always leant to the first which is why I am making these complaints about this proposal...
I didn't say they shouldn't be balanced, but a slight increase for the Nomads and Order is what we strived for in the beginning, at least thats what I understood from this thread.
It depends really. Nomads already have the best fighters in Sirius, fast, hard to hit.. a good pilot can survive in them forever, and the argument that they only have three guns is null and void. Mount a 350ms SN on those, and I can see people like Frozen demolishing.... well.... everything. It's like a red catamaran on steroids, and while RP for it could be good and all, fighting stuff that is godlike is just frustrating.
Think about it. It will eventually end up with Nomads just being ignored and everyone just silently docking on bases, since it's ridiculous and pointless to try and fight.
The jist of this is only the projectile speed. A SN with the speed of a mini razor is overpowered, put it on the fastest bombers in Sirius and it's not just overpowered anymore. It's ridiculous by then.
Except that you can't use that baby on nomad LF, it's for bombers, LFs and VHFs got MR equivalent. Plus a lot things people make out of imagination, i.e. assuming what would happen, and in case negative reaction - worst case scenario, even if it's not going to happen at all. As for Nomad SN, I'll think about other variants, but either way they'll all be around dealing with speed rather than damage.
I couldn't agree more, that we need to re-look the speed , since we all know speed is what matters for the guns, not the damage, range or anything else, its always the speed that matters. But, I say again, they shouldn't have -that- high difference in speed with the rest of the factions, but at least they should be better no?

If everyone else has to play with regular speed, why should you be able to use Supernova with Mini-razor speed?
I did make a few mistakes with my accusations, but most of them still stand.
It's a fact that you do have the best weapons, the ones added in new version.
They are better then Krakens in every area, and Krakens used to be the best.
Now don't give me codename bull, we all know codes aren't factionized, and it's pretty damn hard to hit with them.
Treewyrm, can you look at the Nomad equipment and tell me that it's not better then IMG equipment, Outcast equipment, or Corsair equipment?

If you want your Supernova to be 350, then I have to ask for every single Supernova to be 350.
Speed is the most important factor in balancing SN, and you are sacrificing 30k damage for 70 speed.
It is ridiculous to me, but I have no idea how you can't see it.

Because, Nomad weapons have 600 speed as far as I know.
The new, added, ones are not a guideline.

I never said anything bad about Keepers in this thread, so personal issues leave for another time.
This is still a no from me. Everything above 300 speed is funny, with 320 and 350 being absolutely ridiculous.
It's not about Keepers, Nomads, Dragons or any other faction. It's about Supernova having 300+ speed, which is going towards pwning fighters.
And that's a step back into the 4.83, not 4.85.

Chopper, again, stop comparing level 9 guns to level 10 guns, alright? Codenames aren't factionized, nomad lasers lvl 10 guns are, whether you like it or not, period. So if you're talking about balance - compare level 10 to level 10 and not the other way. I have no problem shooting with codenames, talking about having hard to hit with them. Yea, Nomads have no shield busters. None. No infernos, no coladas, no tizzies, not even debies.
