Please God do not open the can of worms that is the definition of fascism. It's such a complex affair to explain that it immediately becomes a waste of time. Just find better terms to use rather than what your average Twitter comments thread has. It's really not hard.

"Corrupt" and its synonyms will go a long way and fit in far better than bringing up the current words. It describes the very way Liberty works, the way it will work, and the way it worked in the past. Everything is just a facade, hiding away the corruption and the very lack of Liberty that its citizen are made accustomed to.

Why so triggered over a word that's existed since 1919? It's not an insult to the person. Unless you are somehow right aligned and taking it as a personal insult. It is most certainly not memetic. Perhaps you should spend less time on social media to stop your sensation of oversaturation of content.
And I sincerely doubt the people in question are trying to snip insults at the player themselves, considering if you know the background that it's just their char acting like so, that they're capable RPers of doing different chars.
That log that was posted? They only said it 3 times there, and context was snipped out. It's funnier to understand that some people who are taking issue with this - not exclusive people in this thread - have genuinely belittled others (ie. mocking people who have irl disabilities) through a 'facade of RP'
Literally do something better with your life, this is so inconsequential - this thread is just shitslinging for the sake of it, cause the people sure aren't trying to be malicious.
Well if it is not meant to be malicious, then why is it done? I am certain that the people who bomb the lawfuls with these phrases would not enjoy getting called anarchists 24/7 or baby-devourers only to then be shot on sight. There ought to be more more to it than just "why are you triggered by X word", which is why so many people in this thread are continuing to argue against the usage of such terminology. It's a game, not a competition to see who knows more insults.

What was that about you previously complaining that people were being too friendly ingame with hostiles, saying they have tea etc with each other and don't do anything remotely hostile? Lmao.
You think everyone is going to be happy and loving? Nope. No different from /1 /2ing people - as you have previously loved to defend too. Arguably, the /1 /2ing mindlessly is far far more viciously worse, because you can't really just ignore your session being interrupted.

The basic premise is that Liberty is a paradise where rich and poor alike can go to and enjoy the best life in Sirius: top grade commercial goods, highly competent police and military to protect you, a thriving economy despite the wars other houses were plunged into, etcetera.
What your/the Zoners should know by now is that the things I outlined above are just a way of hiding the rotten, utterly corrupt and without any remorse leaders of the Republic that are doing their best to continue remaining on top of Sirius economically and militarily (Ageira with their tech monopoly, LN with their gigantic space guns, etc)
I am positive you understand my perspective, especially since you have been around for far longer than I have and thus likely know Liberty lore to a greater extent.

Two wrongs don't make a right. The "/1/2 people" are also simply doing their job, the same way Revenant having a Wild Valor on standby is questionable for those whom you may seem as outsiders to your story.
The end point, which I will reiterate, is that the English vocabulary has far more and far better words that our fellow players can put to use rather than bring up the same term that has had its meaning sucked away both due to RL events and due to the lack of knowledge that some individuals have shown (not pointing fingers, just broadly speaking; I really and sincerely doubt the random Joes that yeet around the term "fascist" can even define what it is, because even the Wikipedia which you quoted is wrong in that regard). Please try to separate emotions from what you're typing as a character, at least when doing this kind of things. Thanks. I'm gonna go have a drink and take care of other affairs until later on.

Just to clarify, that's never been what I'm getting at -- or rather, I don't think it's intentional so much as it is just callous. I'm saying I think the general tone of the roleplay comes across as overly hostile and aggressive, and I do genuinely think some of it -- maybe not exclusively the logs I posted, because I'll grant you I don't know the guy -- veers eerily close to present-day American anti-police/anti-establishment discourse.
I don't really have any stake in that personally, not being American, but I am sick of seeing it worm its way into places it has no business being. Maybe I'm jumping at shadows -- you'll definitely tell me I am, right? -- but it doesn't feel like it.
I also don't care about any of the discussion around the word 'fascist' itself. Anyone trying to centralise the talking point around that is addressing something different to what I'm trying to get at here -- I don't think it should join the big list of banned words or anything.
