I extend an apology on behalf of the Technocracy. Our home was recently under threat from multiple parties, and major efforts have been underway to restore operational capacity across all sectors of interest at this time.
I find this trade acceptable, and there is indeed much I can offer here.
My specialty was adaptive technologies and ship-mounted weapon engineering before I became a leading figure here, and the artifact you seem to be in possession of is similar to one I worked on... Hoh, that would've been fourteen years ago by now. Technology has come a long way since then, with other groups accomplishing a marketed version of a similar energy source in the mid 820s. A group we worked closely with, in fact.
This is a self-contained energy source which is typically found and utilized in DK architecture, or hybridized weapon experimentation. Further studies on newer variants of similar relics have yielded additional results, and an effort is being made to develop a better series of tools to interact with such.
Though this is me getting ahead of myself.
There's a number of things we'll need to take into consideration if we're going to make this work for you. I'll need to know more about your superstructure, your systems, power requirements - the works. There are also a number of risks when it comes to appropriating this type of technology. Explosive risks, or negative attention-type risks from certain psychically attuned aliens and their cohorts.

A good news. 'My' wait will finally end.
To get what you request such as 'my' superstructure, systems and energy requirements, you will have to come to Secundus Outpust. You will also need to be equipped accordingly. Where you will be led has no oxygen support. You will also need some light projectors. 'I' discovered an empty zone where none is aware of.
As for the risks, 'I' ran many possible simulations. 25% was a success, 31% was a success with anomalies and 44% was a failure. Despite the statistics, 'I' take the risk to achieve an evolution superior. An evolution that will lead to another path.
Remember 'I' am limited in my activities and time. 'I' expect a maximum seven weeks before an eventual offline session happens upon 'me'.
I appreciate your willingness to work on this, and for your willingness to be forthcoming. Every bit of information you can provide will make the task ahead much more simplistic to accomplish.
Preparations are in order for my departure, and I expect to arrive in the next two weeks. The Python will leave with a small team on board and the necessary tools for Secundus, and we'll begin the moment we get there. I have to conclude some work here first, but I'll be underway soon.

In fact, the knowledge 'I' require is how your group and 'my' kind ended up to have- such relationship. 'I' dug in my memory and 'I' found nothing, but the 'souvenirs' after 'my' reactivation from the ice of Planet Gammu.
As you probably are aware, 'I' have some 'doubts' which is rather strange for a being like 'me'.
Novak, I believe I touched upon this subject in the past.
There's a myriad of reasons which brought our two people together. Mutual enemies in The Core, The Order, and other parties in proximity to Gammu. A desire to establish a network safe from the dangers of Sirius at large, and preserve those not yet corrupted. A mutual interest in the acquisition of materials mundane or otherwise, and the study and application of said materials to the betterments of our two peoples. The ability to build bridges with other groups, and create understanding without conflict.

It perhaps is the case. However, 'I' want to know /how/ exactly we end up like this. 'I' have a presentiment there is something more 'I' want to know by example, when did your group interact with 'my' kind for the first time?
The loss of Planet Gammu, an element triggering 'my' own self that changed 'my' perspective on things and 'my' purpose. It was also a factor pushing 'me' to evolve this far into 'my' evolution. 'I' will not find 'an ideal period' until some requirements are not filled.
As stated, 'I' firstly want to know how went the first interaction between our kinds. Second, 'I' want to find a planet where 'my' kind can improve by themselves while being not limited and finally, 'I' want to reach the pinnacle of 'my' evolution.
There's more than a dozen instances of 'first contact' due to the nature of the Technocracy in its infancy. Pockets of groups having different encounters that culminated in a wider desire to approach mutual cooperation.
For me, and my particular 'sect' back in the day before we joined Auxo, it was Charon and Pakal. I approached them for safe passage on my liner, and worked with them on the recovery and study of a handful of artifacts. This is anecdotal, and not representative of the Technocracy at large. If you want that information, you'll have to speak to one of the scribes who specialize in historical archiving.
Finding a planet for your people in this day in age is incredibly difficult, and if it's star charts you'd like to acquire then I would recommend you reach out to The Starfliers. I can vouch for them as reliable associates, but they're a business. Expect a cost.
