Ahoy. I would go for the destroyer or cruiser class next, I think there probaly the best class of ship in the galaxy. I wouldnt skip them just to have some thing bigger.
I always enjoy people coming up with fun concepts for the game to keep themselves busy rather than hoping for another party to throw comms at them. I also enjoy when people come up with fun concepts for AI. I'm quite familiar with the roleplay of Phil's PRIME| and The Collective. To me, translating the butchered AI languages is like a puzzle waiting to be solved, while obviously being less of a fever dream like the special sign salad K'Hara and indie nomads throw at people and wonder why they get annoyed by them.
So seeing a independent player going for something like this is always something I both enjoy and try to encourage!
I think the evolution system is a fun idea that exclusively works for AI and Nomads - when Foxglove and I founded the Vagrants, we had such a system, too, with two ways for Vagrant characters to evolve. This also works perfectly for the Gammu AI, considering they are literally improving themselves by collecting matter and adding it to themselves to for replication and improvement. Of course there are only so many models an AI player can go for, so there is that, but maybe you can extend the evolution concept to equipment as well, like for example a cloaking device or a jump drive. Or SRP another capital ship and give it AI effects and such. I know there is an AI Dreadnought model out there that never made it into Discovery, likely because it was made for another mod that used the AI cruiser, I guess.
Generally, keep up the good work! I like that it is a very basic idea for Gammu AI, given that in the past, I can at least think of one person who gave their AI a backstory that could basically be only made up by Alex Kurtzman.

Thank you!
Yeah equipment was not really on my mind when I think about the evolution system. I was more thinking about ship in the first place. But now that I think of it, it can be cool a unique cloaking device but for AI.
I changed my Feedback layout, I am unsure how people find it, but it is at my taste, I also updated my signature that has a direct link to the feedback thread so people can drop their constructive comments or appreciations.
I understand that I play how I see the AIs and might and might not fit in the mold, but at least, the important is having fun.
A word to @Sombs, I hope you enjoy what I try to do with AIs, well mostly mine. Your feedback was welcomed and if you have any, they are welcomed too!
