They are really bad.

446 damage for 130 energy, while for example, kraken does 556 damage for 126 energy, Adv. Splitter does 484 damage for 125 energy etc.
It's not that bad, but bellow average, that's for sure.

They're definitely subpar in comparison to popular faction weapons. But really, the difference isn't that big. Not enough to get up in arms over.

Despite their 'weakness' I've had very good success with a Hellflurry loadout so far, even though I lose far more than I win due to circumstances well beyond my control.

For a bit more of a challenge, you can get them at Corsica Outer Sanctum in Omicron 85.
