I don't really see the spikes everyone's talking about... I think the revised version looks pretty good, I like the three engines. Bow looks pretty standard for the very large Liberty ships.
Wonder if a special Spyglass battleship license/scanner could be included in the ship (including adding 250/300 mil to the total price), with a scan range actually superior to the normal battleship licenses. I can't imagine any sane people spending a billion credits buying this thing just to gank the scanner... Plus it would probably be considered OORP these days, like stealing the Marsflyer equipment.
I'd thought about the scanner. I know there are still a couple original Spyglass scanners-I think Gurj has one of them-and I'd like to see more, like on the original, or even just have a second scanner slot installed for it. I think we could have some real fun with that.

What is this spiky thing all you people are commenting about? I don't see it at all. Do you mean the old model or the new concept? I can understand if you mean the old one, but the new one has no spikes that I can see.
concept model #1 ( the one on your checked paper ) is the best option, i think.
it does fit the role... however, personally, i d expected a ship that is more "enclosed" in a seamless chassis ( like todays stealth fighters somewhat )
of course such a concept might be boring - like a F117 is much more boring than a F14 maybe. there is just more to see on the older jet than on the stealth jet ( at least for the common eyes ).
i don t have a problem with the front bow, it looks fine and does not really associate with the corsair axeheads ( unless pointed out that it does ) -
the midsection with the bridge is very good - while the "collar" in the front looks clumsy.

i got 5;)being rich in 4.83 is your friend for mass purchases.
also, i like this one with the tri- engines -alot- better.
throw on maybe a couple antennae and spikes etc to make it 'fit in' remember the current spyglass, on the top of the front area, there is a whole strip of just antennae and stuff.
I was sort of trying to get the little Goth-Emo spikeless collar to look awkward, actually, and since it's drawn attention I think I've done my job:laugh:That one's the active sensor unit, so I wanted it to make a bit of a disruption of the flow.
I think I know what people are talking about when they say 'spikes' now. Do you guys mean the hexagonal things? If so, ignore them. They're turret mounts, so included because I always forget to leave room for them on the final model. They're not going to be visibly pronounced on the final model.
