Praetorian is a a tough opponent. It's good against fighters since it's sleek. And pretty hard to hit head on due to small profile. And nimble enough that you have hard time catching it in turning where it presents the biggest target.
Whereas Thor feels like a "bullet magnet". I've never flown against one, but have been on the receiving end pretty often and it feels like you really have to do your best against fighters.
I personally like Falcata. It feels like velour. The control is silk soft.
But those are just against fighters. All the bombers in right hands can be deadly.
And most of all. Role play ship before anything else.

As a Praetorian flier for over one year, I have to disagree with your points entirely. The Praetorian is an average bomber with a Titan hitbox (that means, easy to hit from most sides) and mediocre steering, whose only advantage is the big flavor of bomber powerplants.

Funny how you consider Praetyre weak in the same areas I consider Thor.:D
Somehow I've found that I have hard time hitting the Praetorian. Maybe it's my ONLY weak spot :D I fare better against any VHFs. Maybe I have just happened to have flown against better pilots in bombers.
Before summer I could rarely see anyone in Praetorian but as of late they seem the more favored than Titans among the Corsairs.
I've fought Praetorians and Falcatas and I must say that the Praetorians are much harder to hit. I've won against Praetorians, but I've won against Falcatas more. Still, I'm dying to try it out. Too bad it's OC only, otherwise I would use it for a future freelancer char I'm making.
Make the Falcata a Borderworld ship!!!!!! I refuse to ally myself with those Nomad-worshipping, power-hungry, greedy drug addicts!!!!!!! No offense btw...
