We prefer asking the guy to get his ass out before he unbalance the fight even more than receiving flames and complains from the victim. That is why we give orders, because we get all the crap when someone does something wrong. Indie or not.

There is a way to RP and stay Fair at the same time, you gotta think a bit on it, but it ain't hard to do.

Oh for crying out loud, I guess no one should ever play FL again because they'll be afraid to hurt someone's feelings. Why don't we all just send only the same amount of people to war as the other country has so that it'll be "fair"? And while we're at it, why not give the terrorists weapons so that it's "even"? You people make me sick, because you think you do the right thing when it's obvious that you fail to do so. I'm sick of trying to argue with you; it's obvious you'll just come up with more and more pathetic arguments, and try to make people think the same as you.

sorry but i kinda take the opg side in this. I've fought against ridiculous odds before (my one slipsream against 5 LN fighters, a BH gunship, a BH battlecruiser, and a friggen transport), and I've also taken ridiculous odds against outnumbered opponents (two fighters, a bomber, a cruiser, and a battleship against a single BH gunship).

It generally isnt fun either way. When you're outnumbered, it's easy to get frustrated because the opponent isnt even giving you a chance to fight back. When you outnumber the enemy, there's no challenge in killing them.

If it's 6vs1, you should probably back off and let the enemy have a chance at getting a kill before going out.

Just to clear it up.

Even if a lvl 5 civilian goes through Omicron 100 you can kill him and it wouldn't be against the rules. Rules of Order space are pretty clear I think, link in my Sig.

And that everyone, is the attitude we want to see more of here. Killing under-levels in guard systems because it is not against the rules. Awesome.

I'd just ignore them. It's not worth it, and what harm are they really causing? Treat others like you want to be treated, please. Even if you wouldn't act like them.

On another note, underlevels are allowed to be killed in player faction owned guard systems by server rule? Where is that stated?

And in guard systems the underlevel rule doesnt exist for defense purposes. It would have been more interesting if he had attempted to RP with us, but he didnt. We tried, we gave him warnings, and then I fired cruise disruptors - And according to the current state of server rules I didnt do anything against them.
The only shots that were fired were by my fighter, and I only shot three cruise disruptors before he left the system. It's not like we were opening up on him with battleships, codenames, and supernovas.
Yes, I was - but I didnt. He didnt die to us, he managed to escape and once out of the guard system we didnt chase him further - there's no point, we were defending our space, and once he's out of that space we dont really care about him.

In those cases I just submit a report to black squadron and we get an agreement that the player is rebelling against the order =P

Stop Akumabito comments. It is pathetic as he has not even entered the thread. However, I suppose we can expect no better from people who want to kill level 26 camera ships. (Ships which do not even have any guns.)
