Just forget about this, its not a BIG deal.... The guy was obviously trying to become an order member, and he had no right being in 100. Just drop it though its really not that big of a deal.

You cannot be sure he was trying to become an Order member if he was passing through O-100. Since he wasn't replying to RP and was continuing through the system, I think that guard system rules apply, since he had ample warning.

P.S. If he was trying to become an Order member, there are other ways to get to O-Minor and the like.

You are so very very wrong here. Anyone who make's it to Order space who want's to become order just's group's with a vet. The vet does mission's, he become's green. Both my order char's were green in under 1 hour.

Good point Ryoken ... IF they are grouped with an Order flying missions for them this would work. But if you are a new guy with no friends to help you out ... gonna take a long time. And if you are the Order doing the missions for someone ... doesn't that indicate your are helping them become Order and thus this is not an issue.

The issue at hand has nothing to do with you helping someone become Order. Its about someone not affiliated with Order making their way through Omicron 100 ... they gotta be neutral or green. If you're Order helping them become Order ... you're not on Tenacity's KoS list.

Thank you ... does LN comprise of same leadership and members with just a name change? Or did SA disband and pass the torch? If torch was passed ... did LN pay the 1 billion creds?

Ok let me break it down this way.....



UNDER LEVEL = NOT ALLOWED TO ENGAGE EXCEPT IN SELF DEFENSE, PERIOD.

Yeah ... I thought so too until I had this encounter with a Xeno in Colorado. I was a level 21 or so and just bought my nice new shiny ID (no longer a Civie ID). He informed me that the rules allow you to kill under 30 if they exchange the Civie ID for a different ID. I protested of course ... and since I was not aware of this rule he let me go.

Now ... this rule contradiction stuff is not very productive. To say that its against the rules to kill under 30 and then somewhere else in the rules that there are exceptions is not good. Here's why:

1. We don't like people with Civie ID's above level 40 (in the rules and fairly annoying) ... now what is going to encourage me to buy a new ID until I hit level 40 when I know I can stay safe from attack until I change out the ID? So we end up with people postponing buying their ID until they get the ship they want ... and we end up with level 60 traders with Civie ID's

2. The exceptions to the rules (killing under 30 if they have no Civie ID or if in a guard system) cause more confusion ... disagree with me here? Go back and read the multiple pages in this thread ... then come tell me its not confusing anyone.

@ Admins: We need to do one of two things here ... 1) remove the exception clause that allows people to kill under 30 in guard systems or with Civie IDs ... or 2) remove the limitation on killing under 30 all together. New guys are not going to be aware of these rules as it is and will likely not understand the differentiation.

If we remove it all together it would be good and bad.

GOOD: Because then people wont get sanctioned
for killing under level players.

BAD: because under level 30 you basically die instantly.
So if you enter the wrong place and dont respond
because you are trying to get to another location
You end up dieing and having to try again.
