Yea... I never said it was my guard system. Black Squadron owns it, but I have been given authority to defend it against intruders, and I've been doing so for around 6 months now.

The guy didnt send me a "lolwut" message, he spoke fairly clearly - but he was most certainly wrong in what he did say. Telling me that I have to leave a system for using cruise to catch up to him after my disruptors failed (Keep in mind I did not know at the time that he was in a camera ship, but he was moving away from me at cruise speeds so I figured the disruptors just missed), after he had already left the system, was really just crying about being engaged by someone in the first place.

So, Conclusion: Dont go into Omicron 100 and expect to not get shot at, regardless of what ship you're flying.

The situations can vary. Don't get one response hardwired in, and react the same way to everyone. Some people will be truly confused. After all, the system does read: Omicron-100, not "Order Guard System."

It can appear to be a totally normal system, someone can pop in, then explore around. Honest mistakes do happen.

But the thing is, you'll know the difference between an honest mistake and an attempt to exploit you. It will be obvious.

1. I gave the guy numerous warnings before ever opening fire, I do the same for every intruder. Generally my system chat warning is along the lines of "<name>, you are flying in restricted order space, leave this system at once or we will be forced to fire on your vessel."
The player ignored all warnings, never gave a single response in system or private chat, and continued flying through the system.

2. He wasnt just exploring, he knew the exact location of the omicron major jump hole and was flying directly towards it the entire time - that jump hole leads through to outcast space, which is the destination for players going that direction through O-100 99% of the time, with the other 1% being keepers or nomads trying to get back to omicron 99 that route.

Sorry, but in-RP there is no response other than a "hardwired" response - everyone gets the same treatment: a warning, an explanation if they're curious about why they arent allowed there, and a few laser blasts to the face when they dont comply with orders to leave the system back the way they came.
