You send a message. It says the receiver is offline, will get the message when he / she is online while you are online as well BUT you DONT HAVE TO send the message again as it sends the message just like an offline pm system. So it works as an offline system if one of the senders is usually online, like I am, due to my work space.
Firstly, I'd like to set the record streight regarding this Order-Corsair change in relationship.
From the onset, the Order have been the driving force behind this deterioration of relations. Before it began, it was the intention of the Order to, in whatever timeframe, completely go back on past relations with the Corsairs, and climb into bed with our fiercest enemies.
The Corsair playerbase never WANTED to lose an ally, or gain a new enemy. At no point, as far as I am aware, have Corsair players been contacted, OORP, by the Order to discuss how this diplomatic shakeup could be made to benefit all players involved. It was, at every stage, forced upon the Corsairs, and Corsair players. Throughout this process, the Corsair Council of Elders has been forced to play catch-up, little by little responding to each provocation by the Order with corresponding reasonable replies that ultimately do nothing for us, but smooth the RP transition of the Order into the arms of their new friends.
So, if there are any criticisms for how thin-on-the-ground the RP surrounding this deterioration of relations is, Corsair players can accept no responsibility, as we have at no point been consulted or involved. The entire process has been orchestrated by the Order and their new allies.
On the Benitez' part, we have done our bit to provide RP responses to the Order's provocations. CLICK HEREHowever, it is difficult to extensively RP a fundemental upheaval of roleplay, when one of the principle parties are so heavily excluded from discussion.
With regards to technology; the precedents and conventions are clear. Technology is rarely acceptable for use if it is obtained from a faction which is barely neutral.
Furthermore, precedent dictates that the Corsairs are technologically isolationist, and would not accept neutrals (who supply and assist their fiercest of enemies) using their technology.
With regards to the Osiris, the established roleplay is also clear; the majority of Osiris class vessels in space were constructed using Corsair shipyards, by Corsair technicians, using Corsair metal, and blueprints from the Osiris Mk1 constructed by the Liberty Navy, at a time when the Order were small and desperate for assistance.
There is no legitimate basis for the Corsair-constructed Osiris vessels being confiscated from their rightful Corsair masters.
I would, however, be willing to discuss removal of Osiris-class warships from the construction-menus of Corsair (or all?) bases, as factions move to adopt more upto-date, and individual or specialised designs. Either way, the Benitez will be hanging onto the Battleship Talos, either by maintenance of the status quo, or by special-RP using our extensive RP as justification.
I'd like to finish by re-iterating a previous point; no Corsair asked for this situation, and we've been dragged to this point (of restructuring most of the game) by the Order's desire to thwart established RP and the interests of much of the playerbase without any consultation or compromise.
But that's not offline messaging. It would be if it was sent to a sever, and then sent to the receiver when they log on.
I don't have my PC on all the time. :\

Being a leader PULLS you to Skype even if you hate it. Because it involves more talk with other people than your own peepz. It requires CONSTANT dialogue with other offline people to set things right in game and it is faster. In game, it is not possible, especially NOT with 1 liner epic fail chat system of FL.
It is why I hated to be a leader and left once and for all. It kills your playing time, gaming.
EDIT: It is also because of Order and/or Corsair factions being big in player database. Order official had 40 or so active players when I was around plus the indies to talk to. Add all the interracting factions to this like BHG Core, Nomz, Corsairs, Outcasts, /CS/, Zoners... You have to be in touch with at least 100 people. Just for game contacts, I had 300 or so Skype contacts. Skype is a must for this game unless Cannon adds something similar IN GAME.
Sorry to hear that Ophidian,i understand...of course no hard feelings, thanks for clearing that issue for me...
When i was talking about Leading game i meanth making decisions about direction of where faction is
going...that's why i mentioned skype in oppose to in-game RP...But i understand what you are saying...
This deteriation has gone on long before I became the Order|'s leader.
My personal point of view is that; I wouldn't mind breaking ties with the Corsairs, but there is no need for hostility is there? We don't need eachother's technology. The Corsairs would still posess the Osiris blueprint. And we could all be neutral. Surely a war would not benefit either faction.
As for the decision from the HC, i'm not making any official executive decisions until everyone has had their say.
Hm. Planet Toledo has resources, wildlife (read: food), breathable atmosphere, established infrastructure, and a nice cool change from the heat of Crete.
Very naive for the Order to assume that ceasing to be useful to the Corsair Empire wont bring consequences.
I'm certain that we'll do more talking about this as the weekend progresses. I also don't see any reason for the Corsairs to not still have the ability to keep making Ossies, since they were the ones building it in the first place - and they certainly wouldn't have to give those ships up that are already built.
But from the points made (not just on here, but in skype) - the Order is allying itself with the enemies of the Corsairs. So I'm not sure how you would expect to simply remain neutral with them after telling them (effectively) to kiss your butts, and you're now friends with their enemies.
And Wizard, realize that right now I maintain open at all times a minimum of 7 different chats, and I have about 500 contacts in my skype directory. My three faction chat groups, three different admin chats, the moderator chats are open at all times. (In case you're wondering, we have a chat group for ALL the admins from ALL the disco servers, so we can share information - plus anything that happens during the day, such as when someone sends me a note asking me to get in game if possible or has a rules question.)

You raise a valid point. But, the order isn't going to want to help it's new allies fight against the Corsairs. Maybe a mutual agreement of unfriendlyness could be achieved. But an all out war should be avoided.
On a related note to the original question, I would appreciate it if Outcasts and Zoners stopped docking on Battleship Beuvray rather than face my GRN. I didn't get an answer from Agmen the last time I poked him about the status of my request about that, would you like me to write it up more formally and back it up with RP? It's already there. The Zoners hate the GRN about as much as they hate the Nomads at this point, as far as I can tell... and the feeling is mutual.
So... can we FR5 entire NPC factions? I've been asking this for months.
