Well, the Carapace has been doing a fine job covering the flow of goods throughout Leeds.
My first report concerns vessels transporting Deuterium that were stopped at Stokes Mining Station. The Captains claimed to be ignorant of the trade embargo, but were convinced to return and offload their shipments at freindlier destinations. I must commend the commanders of the Kal-El and the [STF]moneybags for their responsible attitude.
I also have been monitoring Junker Congress vessels. The one I most recently encountered was very co-operative and was all clear. We shall continue to monitor their movements and I have been in communication with Trafalgar Base to establish if there is any more information forthcoming.
This morning we received a tip-off about one Donny_Ren. I intercepted his ship at Leeds. His papers seemed in order.
He was transporting metallic objects with unusual engravings that he claimed were antiques. We confiscated one for analysis and the chaps here in the lab report that they are in fact alien artifacts. It appears the manifests were clever fakes!
This is clear evidence of assisting what we know to be a smuggling operation run by Corsairs. As such we are issuing an arrest warrant for him on charges of 1. smuggling restricted items declared contraband, namely Alien Artifacts
2. assisting enemies of Bretonia
The standard fine of seven million credits either in cash or through confiscation of property stands as of the time of writing.
A page has just arrived at the front desk of the Police Headquarters on New London Planet. Some areas of the paper are difficult to read due to apparent tea stains.
The letter reads:
To New Scotland Yard
Sorry about using this ancient paper stuff, my computer has been on the fritz. Well, on with the report.
Today as I -tea stain- the New London area I detected three Mollies using -tea stain- long range sensors from the Essex. I headed over to provide support for the Essex and defended it. As usual, the Mollies took the bait. Two Independent Mollies in Thor bombers arrived and engaged. The first one was ripped apart by the Essex in a minute or two. The second moved out and dodge. Then, a Molly Republic Barghest Bomber engaged and I had a real fight on my hands. I dodged my best and scored a couple nuclear mine hits on the Barghest. The Barghest, after about 10 minutes of fighting went into a long engine kill towards the Essex, just what I wanted. I turned my Hussar around knowing what was about to happen I then felt my ship rock from the explosion. The last ship, a Thor, was a -tea stain- till the end. His piloting, and mine dodging skills were inferior to mine, and he soon lost all of his guns. The Essex scored one or two hits on his hull but I finished him with my Rippers.

Bruce Scott
I promptly put the letter in the report section after skimming through it and then headed home for the night.
I then headed back to Leeds, where I finished my patrol quietly. All in all an interesting beginning to my career with the BPA!

Junior Constable David Anthony

Greeting everyone,
Today I came into Leeds to be greeted kindly by the BAF, only they weren't quite speaking to me. There was a pair of KNF in Leeds, a Chimera and a Catamaran, which the BAF was kicking out. A BowEx shipper was stating, also, that he had business to attend to. Seeing as how the KNF was being dealt with by the BAF, I offered to escort the BowEx captain to New London, but it seemed he had business in the Taus, and so I apologized for not being able to accompany him.
Seeing as how I am merely a Junior Constable, I was unable to assist the BAF, and so I remained at Stokes, to usher traffic away from the known fight. Much to my dismay, a the Catamaran, which was unknown to both the BAF and me, jumped in from Planet Leeds and opened fire on me. Thankfully the HMS-Redoubt was in the area, and I called for assistance while flying evasively. Thankfully, the Redoubt jumped in not thirty seconds after I called, and chased off the bomber. The captain decided to continue the chase, and both the Chimera and the Catamaran entered Tau-31, with the BAF pursuing. I apologized to the BAF for not being able to stop the retreat of the Kusari and for not coming with them to the Taus, but, without weapons, what could I have done? The Taus are also out of our jurisdiction, so I do not believe engaging there would be prudent...
After this, I saw a Junker in an IMG Albatross, with a cache of Nomad Weapons capable of equipping two Challengers and a Gunboat, and asked him to wait while I checked the registry for his licensing. Thankfully, he was licensed, and I simply told him of the current political stance on the IMG and their ships. He thanked me for the info, and was off.

RE: Smugglers
Greetings, sirs,
I feel I must bring to your attention the actions of two certain traders. These individuals were encountered yesterday at Stokes, claiming to be moving Deuterium to Naha. After we attempted to explain to them the errors of their ways, myselfand Captain Nelson attempted to escort them to Harris to offload. However, they decided to make a break for Tau-29. While we persued them doggedly, the sheer number of Kusari vessels that we ran into impeded our progress, and they unfortunately managed to get away. As such, I believe appropriate action should be taken against these individuals in future to show to them that one cannot escape the long arm of Her Majesty's government. The IDs of said individuals are "Dark_Transporter" and "Merchant_Endeavour". I managed to record pictures of "Dark_Transporter"s hold before he escaped, and enclose same here.
Sincerely, Ensign Aldwyn (S)

The CCD appreciates the sharing of intelligence. I have issued an arrest warrant and an order for the confiscation of Dark_Transporter's ship. The magistrate deemed there to be insufficient evidence for a warrant on the Merchant_Endeavour.

Well I was woken by a very loud and worried comn officer in Newcastle saying a Molly was running free. I scrambled and searched for him around Newcastle. I found the molly : [MR]Ghostface and engaged. The fight was a long one but he was slowly gaining the upper hand. About the middle he blew off my imp.debs so I was only fighting with a SN cannon and mines. To both of our surprise I lasted longer and continued to hit him with lucky shots destroying his counter measure, but always failed to land a critical one. He eventual hit my engines and my ship exploded but lucky I was picked up by a passing BMM convoy.

Greetings New Scotland Yard,
This evening a constable by the name of Abigail Thorn was brought to us by a pair of Armed Forces from the Suffolk. According to their report, she was downed only 2k away from the Suffolk while a group of three Mollies engaged her. Though she attempted to flee the fight, one of the Mollies was able to strike her with a Mini Razor as she retreated.
Despite quick combustion of her ship, she did manage to hit her escape pod before any major corporal damage could be rendered. Though she did suffer from some minor burns on her left arm, she remains unharmed otherwise. Rather lucky for her that she was so near the Suffolk, as I have heard some rather rude things about the Mollies.

Thank you for news of Constable Thorn's condition. I do hope she is well. The staff are sending some flowers over, and I shall visit later.
This vile, dare I say, ungentlemanly, act, perpetrated against a fine constable, and a lady to boot, has caused outrage among the staff in the Yard. Once we have secured the details from her flight recorder, we may be able to identify those responsible. The chaps in forensics are working round the clock to help us.
Chief Magsitrate Lord Denning has indicated that he will issue an order for the arrest of those responsible as a matter of urgency.

Subject: Corsairs!
Bloody hell,
I swear, it's as if the rapscallions just flock to Bretonia. What is it about our space that is so attractive. I know it's beautiful and without a lack of abundance, but, none-the-less, why Bretonia?
At any rate, I came across someone trying to steal one of our most limited resources: Our scientists and intellectuals. I asked this man, Lune0(trader_boy) kindly to drop our scientists. He fired on me:
Downing my shields, I moved and informed him that lethal force would be rendered if he did not stop and comply. He did stop, and I sighted a pair of Corsairs, one in a bomber, and one in a gunboat:
The Gunboat, Gentle, had been sighted when I first entered the system, and he was fleeing from the sight of a BHG Battlecruiser. Sadly, the pilot must have been incompetent in more than just the captain's chair, as his Battlecruiser was downed without so much as the bat of my eye when he was in actual combat. Sadly, all I could do was dock on Cambridge and spit insults while the BAF came to deal with them.
I do blame this mostly on the fact that this smuggler by the name of [WDR]Kullman was arguing with me. He willingfully admitted to selling food to the Corsairs, yet he found this incessant need to argue with me. Enclosed is the highlights of the conversation, and proof of his smuggling activities:
Lord, he wasn't the brightest, either. He couldn't even keep his story straight. I really am beginning to loathe dumb people...
