It's only for turrets, not for ordinary guns, so not a clear aimbot.
As I said good for only transports, on caps it would be unfair.

If it were implemented, it would have to be set to fire somewhat inaccurately, otherwise as that other guy said, legal aimbot.

I am horrible at pvp, and have often thought such a thing would be useful. But it would also be horrible overpowered and destroy the point of fighters. Maybe for the rear turrets though. They are completely useless, nothing but a waste of a mount.

But with transports it would give the traders a little more chance..

mount your trading ship with krakens and armor upgrade and you have nutcracker wich survive more shots from SN than gunboat, can shoot without any energydrain and have firepower big enough to kill every bomber in sirius... bad aiming of trader is only what give to pirating bombers chance to survive and succes.

No... aimbot isnt fair on trader ships too

it is because all your ideas in some way kill PVP... This is RP server but it die without PvP... and hell I love PvP (except capwhores)... everything wich can ruin PvP is NO NO :nono:
Point taken. But yes as someone said a couple of posts ago you can make it somewhat innacurate. Not to mention my opinion that transports with krakens would be kinda OORP.. Would they?

they arent OORP if you are smugler, junker, or zoner... My cardi smugle adv. train have that "dirty" settup:)Better dont stop me in something smaller than gunboat or if you arent realy good bomber pilot.

BTW: dont know name of that ship (3 container in triangle from bretonia)... it is buged little bit and not every SN hit do damage on it... I saw one molly smugler few months ago with that settup too and hell it was toughest fight in my life on disco.

What about things that make Pvp a little more interesting, it would make fighters work for there kills instead of just dodging with ease and tearing up the trader or vessel with turrets on because the pilots too busy missing asteroids and retreating to give any form of accurate resistance. Pvp looks pretty onesided an seems to not be pvp at all more of a slaughter. ( Try dodging turrets on transports or stations you will see what i mean)

Besides Im not quite sure the ai is good enough i've seen npc ships and stations fire their turrets but a good half the times the bullets miss and go off into the black hitting some unlucky asteroid. You could be sure that a fair amount of hits would be made but hardly all of them. Enough to make fighters and bombers think an fly a bit more:D. ( i guess it all depends on the programing, to which you would have to ask a programer)

Why not but why to do that than? If it will be inacurate, bombers shall just do what they do now, strafing and bombing... nothing changed except dozens new scripts ruuning in same moment around whole sirius and make server laggy or crashy more and more. Inacurate autoaim have NPCs. Single bomber can kill NPC battleship ;)Inacurate autoaim on player ships is just useless.

ha silly disco people:dry:auto turrets would be awesome there are possible just not in a sense that you can mount and unmounted or turn them on or off. though I have tried to get mountable turrets to auto aim and fire but all attempts proven to fail. The closest I got was trail set 34bb (my 34th test) and the turret quickly snap to the left when the enemy was in view but the moment my mouse moved it disable the command. Then after that I decided to just mount base turrets on my ship. I have yet tested it i'm certain it will work I just haven't had time to see it in action. If i'm not satisfied by the results i'm going to continue to work on the mountable ones.
