Instead of ridges, per se, I'd suggest overlapping armour plates.

I'd need to rebuild the entire model for that, which I don't exactly feel like doing...
but for the moment, who would want me to make it the rusty brown instead of the "imperial red"?

Yes.

Needs moar crustacean shell, less impaling. Possibly trim/flatten the spines, and tone down the red. Then this ship will be perfect AND awesome, as opposed to just awesome.

I'm tempted to have a go at making a Bretonian Carrier... but seeing the ships you lot pump out...it's depressing:P

I like it Xing, think it might be a good battlecruiser.

Sorry Xing but if picture at first page is actual... it absolutly doesnt look like Bretonian ship

It looks like mutant of prison liner nad manga babe from some anime... repaint it to blue and brown and yay we have nice Kusarian battleship which fit perfectly into "japanese" - like Kusarian shipline

remove those 2 spikes at top of the ship and it start to look like bretonian ship. Maybe bottom is too much Libertian but baah I dont want to be signed as too much critical:laugh:

Its too thin I think, all bretonian ships are quite wide, at the moment it almost appears like an adapted corsair lunchbox. Make it wider, less sharp, more curves.

I can see what you're getting at with the whole new era thing, but its too much of a leap.

Overlapping armour plates is a good idea too.

also the size is somewhat inacurate. it looks too small compared to the intended size.

' Wrote:more curves.

exactly! Bretonian ships are pretty curved... this is like anime transformer. But without those spikes it can be perfect ship for corsairs. It can replace that ugly model of their own cruiser.
