Konichiwa, Master,
I am glad you have accepted my offer to try and negotiate with Bretonia. It will be an uphill climb for sure but I will give it my best effort. If you can, maybe you could convince Kusari leadership to cease fire. I just have this feeling that I will have to negotiate with them as much as the Bretonians. You would have more influence on this quite possibly than I would.
Headed out from Ogashawa with full tanks of H-fuel bound for our Zoner customers in Omega-49. Decided to run a conservative route given the last interruption from Bretonia authorities.
Even though it was a long journey and the crew had some complaints about the lack of station provisions, the route through Edinburgh paid off. I am proud to state we delivered 2700 tonnes of H-fuel to Gran Canaria.
The luck of the dragon must be on our side as we returned through the Omegas with a full load of Deuterium unscathed. The Mikuma Maru is currently located at Aomori station undertaking radiation hull repairs.
Another successful H-fuel delivery to Gran Canaria yesterday. Kaku Shimakaze flew escort in his Eagle and was a proficient protector. We passed by a GC fighter who didn't seem interested in our business, so we remained neutral. No need to start unnecessary fights... by the way the GC was a women pilot.
Upon our return through Omega-47 we noticed two SCRA ships on long range scanners in Omega-41. I had one of my bad feelings and I decided to follow my intuition. We rerouted to Omega-5 assuming they were waiting in Omega-41 only to ambush us as we jumped in system. Well I was right, as soon as we jumped to Omega-5 they gave pursuit by jumping to Omega-5 a few sectors away. Kaku and I headed through Omega-11 and into Dresden, we had no choice. We circled back through Omega-15 and recaptured our original route in Omega-41. We lost the SCRA ships in Dresden. They thought we were running through Berlin to the Sigma-13 JH. Ha... we out smarted their feeble military minds.
We returned safely to Aomori station with the Deuterium. I heard later in the bar that two SCRA ships cruised through Sigma-13 and sputtered com chatter in the Honshu system. Something about "slant eyed capitalistic rice burning gasmen". Well I hope the KNF found their sorry hides and have them rotting in the brig.

Konichiwa,
Today didn't turn out so well for me. I was doing my patrols and stopped at Naha to see what was passing by. A Daumann train flew by, I tried to CD his engines and hit the tradelane to stop him but he got away from me. It was my intention to stay at Naha to see of this foolish Rheinlander would come back but...
Another train with the name Flying Circus came by with a cargo hold full of Cardimine. I proceeded as usual in demanding he stop and release his cargo for destruction. His responce was unbelievable, I was told I wasn't the police and that his cargo had nothing to do with GMG. Well the affront of being told this as he passed within 1k of Naha was intolerable. I had my responce prepared but I was interrupted by an Outcast in a Sabre designated Cobalt Raven or Raven Cobalt. Flying Circus was able to get away but I was able to tell him that the next time he passes through our space his ship will be added to the wrecks of the old Rheinland fleet.
As for this Outcast, his piloting skills were impressive. He was very adept at getting on my tail and staying on it. The odd time I managed to shake him off was nothing but a shortlived victory as he'd get around me and start pounding on my shields and ship again. The battle was long but in the end his piloting showed that a bomber will get taken down by a Fighter. With only my Super Nova Cannon and Thrusters left I tried to dock with Naha to escape death....dock was busy....I am in the infirmary, thankfully with only minor injuries, I'll be combat ready in no time.
It's been some time since I've been on active duty. After a run in with a wing of Outcast forces, I was in very bad shape. I recieved minor brain damage from oxygen deprivation and had of a bit a psychotic episode while in an intensive care division on the Niigata. It was an... unfortunate experience, but it's behind me now. The doctors assure me that I am fit for duty, albeit a short shift.
I met up with Taro at the Naha and we took position on guard. The traffic was minimal and nothing of interest showed itself, so I left Taro in charge and made way for Honshu to pick up some Debilitators for my Viper Mk-II.
When I arrived in Honshu, I came across two pilots duking it out fiercely. One was a mercenary in a Rheinland Bomber, the other a civilian in a Kadesh Scout. I demanded to know what they were fighting about, and they split off. Seemed they knew eachother from before, and simply got on eachothers' nerves or something. Very odd.
In any case, I was leery about this Rheinland Bomber piloting mercenary. I ordered him to leave our space and return to Rheinland. He agreed reluctantly and I escorted him as far as the Naha, where he continued on to Frankfurt. Back with Taro, I realized the little fiasco made me completely forget about the weapons aquisition, so I headed back to Honshu.
As soon as my ship was finally outfitted with the new hardware, a frantic communique from Katsuo blared out of my comm system. A Hogosha pilot was at Naha! I jumped into my Viper and burned my way as fast I could back to 13. The Hogosha fled from Taro and hit the Honshu jump hole, so I cut him off with Katsuo in pursuit. Surrounded, I barked my venomous greetings to the pilot and engaged.
The battle was short and furious. The Hogosha was flying a Ravens Talon outfitted with Debilitators as well, and his maneuvers were largely evasive. No matter, my Sunslayers hit their mark and he was soon reeling with hull damage.
As per doctors orders, I headed back to the Naha, ending my shift. Noteworthy, however, a WDR transport showed up at Naha soon after I arrived, with a full load of deuterium. Excellent, seeing as we are dreadfully lacking in the stuff these days.

Konichiwa,
First I'd like to say it's good to hear of your success, today wasn't so great for GMG though. Several Corsairs raided Sigma 13 today. A cruiser designated D.Brother-Travis, a bomber designated Karolis|Watercooled and an unknown ship designated Vilkas|xxxx were making a mess of things with the traders passing by. With me guarding Naha was Taro Katsuo and Kako Shimakaze.
We immediately set out in pursuit when our comms picked up the distress of a trader. After some long searching we found them at the northern edge of the Rheinland wreckage.
The Cruiser had some missile turrets on it so we targeted it first in hopes of leveling it fast. Unfortunately it turned into a long battle. After the initial few passes the battled led to Taro and myself chasing the cruiser with our bombers while Kako seemed engaged with the smaller ships and kept them off our backs.
The battle with the cruiser dragged on from our initial location to the northern oxygen cloud north-west of Naha. Unfortunately by this time I had already ran out of bots/bats and my ship was blown apart just before I could transmit our location to other allies.
I am currently in the infirmary with minor wounds I should be fine soon. I hope our other two GMG members came out of that encounter okay.
With the ceasefire agreement in effect until January 5, Kusari will be ceasing its covert deuterium runs.
I will be doing my utmost to take advantage of this economic opportunity by making extra deuterium runs in the Abishiri.
I understand that the Coalition has been making extra threats against traders passing through Omega-52, but frankly I can get attacked anywhere in space - they do not concern me in the least!
Should I encounter other Guild members, I shall encourage them to make the run to Canaria also.

Take note that our recent trading forays through the Omega systems have picked up increased Coalition (and as a result Hessian and Corsair) presence throughout Omega-5 especially. Ships are advised to avoid Omega-52, and travel through Omega-47 instead. The risk of getting shot down in Coalition space with a full load of plutonium is simply too great to allow this blockade running to continue. I have already spoken about this to Guild Master Okazaki, and he has agreed completely. I hold no doubt that others will share a similar stance.
We should all continue amassing Deuterium however, as we will need it for a possible escalation of the war after the holiday period.

I shall take your advice into consideration.
Has any diplomatic consideration been given to the Red Hessians? We seem to have a common dislike for the Rhineland Military and the Corsairs. If instructed I would be willing to make payment in kind for safe passage through Omega-47.

Konnichiwa brothers and sisters!
Today I had to defend Gas Miner Naha against another Outcast assault! This time it was a lone hostile, nevertheless a dangerous gunboat. Mercutio Ramirez was his name. It would seem like the Blood Dragons had sold one of their vessels to this Outcast, as he was indeed piloting a Dragon Gunboat.
I saw him on my scanner, approaching Naha in great speed. I told him to stay clear of Naha, but he must have seen my warning as some kind of invitation, as he continued on course towards Naha. Once in range of the stations guns, Naha opened fire. It didn't take long until the Outcast targeted me with a couple of missiles and fired several salvoes from his guns, trying to catch me off guard as I received no warning before he opened fire!
The battle was on! I returned fire with my quad debilitators and the side-mounted antimatter cannon. After several hits from my antimatter cannon, the gunboat was losing hull integrity. One final shot of my cannon hit the gunboats stern, ripping apart the engines initiating a huge chain reaction of explosions. The shock wave from the blast would have been fatal for me, but luckily my shields took the brunt of the force.
I rejoiced in the destruction of our enemy, however I felt almost guilty in destroying such a beautiful ship. The Blood Dragons sure can construct both powerful and stunning looking vessels! Oh I do hope I don't have to destroy any more of their ships.
But no rest for me yet. Shorty after this first encounter with the enemy, another Outcast was approaching Naha. Again I had to rush to the defence of the station, however this time the stations guns didn't open fire on the enemy. It was just a Sabre, so perhaps our people on-board the station didn't see the Outcast as much of a threat.
The Outcast known as redbull, was now skulking around mere 3 to 4 K from Naha and refusing to leave the stations perimeter. Now taunting me to attack him, I knew he wasn't just going to go away. Leaving me no choice but to engage him, I charged towards his silhouette in the Nebula with full speed and then the dirty dogfighting began. After several hits on both of our vessels, I finally managed to fire a disruptor missile just as he himself fired at least four missiles at the same time. His missiles backfired, destroying his own ship in a spectacular light show! I happened to see his escape pod, drifting towards the explosives gas pockets just west of Naha. I don't think we'll be seeing him any time soon.
I'm now going to have a drink at the bar, and perhaps Akiko Wantanabe of the Kitsune will show up! I did promise to buy her a drink afterall!
