It is indeed a very good model, and it fits the Outcasts quite well, but there's something that makes it look strange. I think it may be the windows, too. Don't exactly know what, but they it appears to me they're too large and there too many of them. I mean there're windows in too many places. Especially in the front. (I'd leave out most of those)
Try to limit the use of windows to some really fitting places.
...and sorry but I don't like the window-texture. It's somehow too bright. It just doesn't appears right to me. These may be the reasons for its 'strange' look. Would you please try to find a great window-texture of awesomeness for me?
Apart from that it really looks great and a LOT more Outcast than the old one
It's..... HOLY SCHNIKES!!! it's a mining barge from eve!?!
Watch out asteroid fields, the rockraper is comin for ya!

I'd imagine that windows are still a weak point, and so in a warship should be kept to a minimum, and kept small. This isn't a ship for sightseeing, its a ship for hardcore battle.
lose a lot of windows, and make the remaining ones smaller, theres more glass than metal here.
Asides from that it looks great, especially from the rear, which is good as i'll only ever see it running away from my corsair.
the model itself is good - the texture is good, too. - but it is still a ship that has much more windows surface than even a luxory liner. ( same goes for the battleship )
when facing the direct front - it has 5 rows of windows and the windows almost make up 50% of the whole front of the ship.
the problem there is that while being a very good model - its not convincingly a military vessel. - it would make a very good science vessel - offering much much more opportunities to look out into the space around the ship than ... well - than anything that is not a biodome.
