*This unit has completed two stealth technology tests, one sarcasm chip test, and one weapons test. Test results are as follows:
Scanner Defractor test #1: Scanner defractor failed to cloak the unit.
Scanner Defractor test #2: Test successful. Power core depleted after thirty seconds.
Sarcasm chip test: Sarcasm chip test successful, with a xeno bomber being the brute of the jokes.
Weapons test: Successful. Guns proved insufficient to penetrate the xeno bomber's shields, however, cruise disruptors were highly successful at blowing off xeno unit's weapons. Recommend replacing Train CD with a Mosquito CD, and Barragers with shield busters.*

Subject: Phantoms violating the no-fire zone
Today is not a good day for us junkers. It started out as a normal day, except for the presence of phantoms in Sigma 13. They wanted to use our bases - which is OK. But they also wanted to loiter in the no-fire zone - NOT ok.
I maintained the spirit of diplomacy in the face of superior firepower. My armored transport verses a fighter, a bomber, a gunboat, and a battleship. Needless to say, things did not go well for me and my crew. Good thing I invested in the high-velocity escape pods - otherwise the crew would be dead.
I haven't checked Yanagi, but it is most likely severely damaged, if it is still there. We are going to have to use more then a few repair ships.

Ahhh, the eponymous pilot of the Hull Panel.
I feel it must be said, we conducted no operations within the no-fire zone until attacked by you. We stopped by to rest for a brief moment after destroying many foul minions of the Houses.
Would you prefer us to rest up on Yanagi? Our tastes can run to the quite extreme and we do not wish to upset our allies by eating your people. Master Syn is quite disgusting when his appetite takes him. Sometimes even our Revenant is quite incapable of stopping him. There are other quite diverse tastes, all of which would upset the Junkers were we to express them on board your station. More so after a fresh combat.
It was your choice not to heed our words.
Your choice to attack us when you were woefully outgunned.
You made this bed, now it is your choice whether or not you lie in it.
Pride.

There's really no easy way to say this. I understand that you care about Yanagi, we all do. Despite its ocation in the middle of a radioactive wasteland, it is actually rather pleasant. The station bar is one of the best around. (You heard me, the GMG just don't know how to make a good drink to save their lives) With this in mind I understand how some of you have become rather overzealous in the defense of this fine station.
Listen up. I'm not changing any policies, the old ones still stand. All I'm saying is we need to think about what we are doing. Try thinking a few moves ahead when planning your actions. Starting a fight that cannot be won will not help the defense of our base. In fact it will only encourage more people to get rowdy. We do not like warships to camp the base. Everyone is welcome, but please do your business and move on, especially if your presence will attract other trouble. If someone is making a habit of being a nuisance, please report it to me. We are preparing means of dealing with this. You don't have to charge into battle and get yourself blown up to prove a point.
Finally, in regards to the Phantoms. Try and imagine them as we see the Harvesters. If it were up to me I would turn all the Harvies into Junker bar jukeboxes but it's just not an option for me so I find ways to tolerate them. Start doing the same with the Phantoms. If the Phantoms commit acts of aggression that were not antagonized by you, then send me the evidence with a full report. Otherwise just back off.

Thank you very much for the report Mr. Hurthi. This is exactly how I like to see reports submitted. Clear details and evidence giving a clear ID of the ships involved. This will be dealt with.
Sirs.
I must report a disturbing incident in Gamma today.
After dropping Gold to the monkey people in Kappa, I was heading back to Gamma to continue my trade route when, without a word of warning, a pair of Benitez pilots fired their cruise disruptors at my ship. I immediately stopped and asked to why they stopped me.
They then began to accuse me of a past incident of shipping Passengers to Tripoli, which they would ignore if I 'donated' 2 million credits.
Now I have never carried passengers and I have never been to Tripoli. The base isn't even on my nav map. However they continued to insist it was me, and continued to insist on a donation. It finally took an image of my nav map posted on their message board to believe my innocence, with which they sent me on my way without even a word of apology.
Now I would urge the Congress to look into shipments to Gamma, as it would seem that unwanted goods is still being carried there, I would also ask that senior congressmen discuss with the Benitez why they feel it necessary to demand donations from passing congressmen rather than take their griefs through the official channels.
Finally I would add that this is the last straw from my personal relations with the Corsairs. Gamma is now scrubbed off my personal trade routes.

No problem there Sal, you are the captain and as such you have to do what you feel is best for the safety of your crew. The Corsairs know that the Chief Arbiter and myself are more than willing to deal with Congressmen who misbehave in Gamma. They are also rather eager to report these incidents when they occur. Since I have not received such a report, I'm going to assume it never happened.
You handled yourself very well though. I hope more will learn from your example. Be as polite as you can when in Gamma, or any other home system, and if a problem arises, give us a chance to deal with it diplomatically.
Sirs.
Today in New York, we received reports of Xeno activity bothering independent junker traders. In response, myself and .:j:.Mariya.Valentine launched in our Collectors to investigate. Near the California gate, we encountered 2 Xeno pilots:
Caleb.Swift|XG-B flying a bomber
Dusk flying a Hawk.
After sizing up, a battle kicked off. During the battle, a few other ships arrived, a rogue gunboat and a lane hacker vessel. Both of these were destroyed by the Xenos.
Finally, we managed to take down Dusk, Mariya.Valentine scoring the killing shot. Shortly after, Mariya herself was destroyed by the bomber. I managed to tractor in her pod and continued to fight the bomber. After a lengthy firefight a Lane Hacker gunship by the name of Phate arrived. The Xeno bomber then fled on thrust all the way to the Colorado jump hole, myself in pursuit. Unfortunately, he escaped.
I returned to Rochester for repairs.
Damage to enemy:
1 Hawk destroyed.
1 bomber severely damaged.
Damage to congress vessels:
1 Collector destroyed.
1 Collector minor damage.
Damage to friendly vessels:
1 Rogue gunboat destroyed.
1 Lane hacker ship destroyed.

"Sirs, today was just a regular quiet day in Sigma 13, what with Corsairs and everyone else just moving about doing their own thing...an Outcast Destroyer entered the system and was shortly there after engaged by a Corsair..which at first was alright, they were staying away from Yanagi while engaging, and I was reminding them to do so, which they were doing..
Until the Corsair bomber "If.you.wanna.die" thrusted toward Yanagi and...of all things attempted to use it as a shield!
The "Poseidon" gladly obliged by following the Corsair toward Yanagi and waiting...I continued to issue warnings to the two of them, but neither of them responded nor moved away from Yanagi...eventually the Poseidon opened fire on the Corsair bomber with it's main batteries...I have yet to survey the damage to the station, but I am guess that it will be severe as the Destroyer was less than 100m from the station while it was firing....the pilots of both ships have docked on Yanagi...I hope we will do something with them..
My guncam system is malfunctioning...so unfortunately I have no visible evidence..though I think the damage done to the lower half of Yanagi will more than say enough...
