For one, I am NOT admining. I don't have the means, or the need to admin anything. But I'm not going to just sit by when there is a chance I can help dissolve a confrontation. Kane does it, and granted, he is MUCH better at it than I am. But that doesn't mean I can't make an attempt.
DO, that earlier, big post, was WAY uncalled for. You might disagree with something he is doing/not doing. But you do not flame him, or call him an addict. Best thing to do is, go to him privately. Thats what I do. I do not want a flame fest, especially on the forums.
However, Wolfpack, you ALSO started a bashing against DO in your earlier post.
DO, you need to calm down. Right now. I've been severely pissed off at Hoodlum before, and yes, I also bashed him and flamed him too. But going off through a page-long post about his wrongs isn't the way to go. People have said this to me and others. And I'm saying it to you.
Wolfpack, everytime people try to give you advice, or help on ANYTHING, you accuse them of telling you what to do, how to do your job as an admin, to put server ahead of life, and trying to admin themselves. They aren't.
You are taking things WAY to personally and WAY too harshly. Instead of jumping on the defensive, think first, if they are trying to help, or tell you to do your job. If you look at it with a cool mind, it will usually be the former.
Now all of you stop flaming. Wolfpack has resigned. We might not agree with the choice, but it is his choice. And it is not our right to tell him that he is wrong. DO doesn't agree with it, and has said so. Keep it between DO and Wolfpack, or at least between them and admins.
Now Wolfpack, about your comment about me trying to admin. No, I'm not attempting to in any form. I'm just sick of the bickering on this topic. Its also why I went to you privately, instead of going and posting about it on forums. If I was allowed to choice the next admin, including myself, I wouldn't pick myself. The first person I would say deserved, and would be a good admin, would be Kane. I don't, and I'm not going to, put my own wants before whats best for the server.
You know DO, that determining when someone is cheating is a quite difficlut task in FL. The main problem is that you cannot tell if the mod is edited clientside or not.
But we are taking steps to better deal with cheating.
We are currently reviewing some client side tools (cheatersdeath, etc), that will deal with that kind of cheating in real time.
The problem before is that the old server could not handle having the server side part of the program running with the flserver because it lacked the processing power. But with the new server we can run such program.
We are now seeing how and when to implement it. Of course, once this is implemented, it will be mandatory to have it installed to play here.
Main problem is that it requires .NET 2.0 FW. And not everybody can install it.

Wow Josh, that is the most nonconstructive criticism in this thread. I applaud you for your idiocy.
And Dab, I agree with you, suprisingly on all of your post. Yes I know I have gone overboard, I may or may not be justified in doing so (I can't even answer that myself.) I was, and honestly still am very angry at Wolfpacks attitude towards me during all the instances. Most notably everything in that last post of yours.
@All: Everybody calm down now. I don't want this to become a flame war.
Take a cold shower and meditate a bit, then come and post.
@Josh: if you don't have anything constructive to say, don't post.
@Josh again: Post another insulting post like the one i've just deleted and i'll get you a 3 day ban. If you can't dialog like a civilized man, stay away from the forums.
